Peaceful, tranquil stay at the pool house, on this lovely property. I enjoyed William as a Host, available for any needs, with plenty of space during the stay. Thank you-
We loved staying in the bungalow for our weekend at the Omega Institute. Everything was beautiful, clean and just as advertised. Will was a terrific host and quick to respond to all of our queries. The property is lovely and very quiet and peaceful. We had an amazing time!
This was an enchanting stay. Our hosts have thought of everything, and it was so nice to see all the special touches. The space was really beautifully designed, and accommodated my husband and I quite comfortably. It was really a beautiful spot. We so appreciate the opportunity to stay.
We had an amazing stay here, the place was beautiful and clean, the host has tremendous hospitality and respected our privacy. There's everything you need, a full size kitchen including a grill next to the gorgeous pool. The location is next to major towns along Hudson valley, a great escape from the city! We'll be back!
This is a hidden gem! Beautiful in every way and very well appointed. There were delicious healthy snacks, beverages, tea, coffee and everything you would need to make a meal. The hosts were responsive and gracious! Million dollar view with plenty of places to see in the area! Thank you for a great stay!!!!!!
Our family had a wonderful stay! Everything was exceptional! The apartment is very clean and William has thought of everything you might need. He is also very prompt with responses to questions and very accommodating. The pool, patio and deck were perfect to relax on. We were sorry our stay was not longer and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
We are a 70-year old couple making our first visit to the area. Our October trip was scheduled to enjoy the Fall colors and see the many historic homes, museums and other area sites, all within easy driving distance from this property. We have rented many VRBO properties in the past, and this was one of the finest. It was clean, spacious and well stocked with towels, kitchen equipment, snacks, etc. We used the property only for overnight accommodations - we ate most of our meals at the many nice restaurants in nearby Rhinebeck. It was fine for our purposes, and would be great for a quiet few days of R & R, reading a book on the deck overlooking the pool. Two things we note about this property: first, its location is fairly remote, 15-20 minutes drive from the nearby towns of Rhinebeck and Staatsburg. If you’re looking for seclusion, this is your place, but the drive to and from town over hilly, twisting country roads can be challenging after dark. Second, access to the unit is up a steep flight of wooden stairs with no carpet. The hosts ask you to remove shoes when entering the building, so the stairs are navigated in socks or bare feet. We were careful and had no problems, but I would caution guests who are less mobile or who have younger children. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this property for its many nice features.
This is a little patch of heaven. Beautiful, clean, amazing views, sounds of nature, ability to stargaze, refreshing and huge pool. It has everything you could possibly want in a weekend getaway from the city!
Thank you, Will & Dylan
I have rented more than 50 VRBO rentals and you never know what you're going to get. If This one is one of my favorites. Clean, comfortable, furnished beautifully, and all in was perfect. Very important the bed was quite comfortable the pillows were very firm, but I like a soft pillow. I looked in the closet and I found a soft pillow, I was happy. This place really has all the comforts of home. I had a chance to hang out with Will & Dylan in their vegetable garden in front of the chicken coop. What delightful people! More than saying I would come back here again, I would come back so I could stay here again.
Thank you,
Dennis
What a wonderful stay we enjoyed in Staatsburg! Will & Dylan are outstanding hosts! The location was outstanding as a base for activities (harvest fairs, antiquing, museums, restaurants)! Yet, we also enjoyed relaxing at this gorgeous property! It was stylish, super-clean, great views, beautiful deck, comfortable bed, and a top-notch kitchen with many extra touches! We enjoyed walking the trail around the property and seeing the pond, chickens, firepit, and organic gardens! Loved the fresh eggs for breakfast! Can't wait to return when the pool is open.
What a treasure in any season!
The stay was perfect. Has a private balcony over looking the beautiful pool, pond, and many acres. Very peaceful, clean and quiet. We had a wonderful time.
I came here with my wife for a 4 day vacation, and we could not have been happier that we did!
The place was exactly as advertised and then some!!
The place is newly renovated, clean, well kept, and has all required amenities!!!
The owners and hosts are the nicest people you will find, and are there to help you whenever you need and for whatever you need!!!!
In conclusion, we were 110% satisfied with this place!!!!!
The Owners were very communicative and went out of their way: we were able to swim just a little early which ended up perfect on an unseasonably warm day.
Thank you!
The property is even better than the listing - great location, very comfortable, well provisioned, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and delicious fresh eggs from the owners' hens in the coop along the private trail. Their recommendations for restaurants and such were excellent too. A restful base for exploring this lovely part of the Hudson Valley and for us a great escape from New York City.
Beautiful location and views. Really enjoyed walking the trail on the property. Host were very responsive to any questions. The apartment is comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. Loved arriving to 6 farm fresh eggs on the kitchen counter. If you are looking for quiet and comfort while being a short car ride to restaurants and points of interest- stay here!
Idyllic retreat - yet close to so many great things
This apartment is a perfect retreat with absolutely everything we needed. Gorgeous view and quiet. Our biggest dilemma was wishing we could spend more time just relaxing at home (but area is so great).
We had a wonderful time at this property! The space was clean and beautiful! The owners had so many nice touches to make us feel comfortable and welcome - our most favorite being the fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. Our son had the best time running around the yard, walking the trail, and visiting the chickens. One note for parents, the apartment is at the top of a steep staircase. It was not an issue for us as we simply moved a chair in front of the staircase to block it off and our son paid it no mind, but just something that parents might want to know. We had the best time at this property and we can't wait to plan our next visit!
We had a great short stay in this wonderful apartment. Separate entrance and complete privacy. The unit is very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The hosts have a tremendous attention to detail -- the fresh eggs and cream for coffee in the fridge exceeded expectations. The property is large enough for a nice private walk in the woods. Great access to hiking and dining. Would love to enjoy the large pool on a summertime visit.
I stayed here for a weekend with my best friends. We had the most amazing time. The place was stunning, both the cabin and the grounds, and was extremely clean. The owners were extremely responsive with whatever needs or questions we had. We even met them and their adorable dog. If you are deciding on booking here, DO. It was truly an amazing place. Can’t say enough great things! Already thinking about when I am going to come back for another stay.
Newly remodeled and lovely. I brought my snow-shoes and enjoyed healthy walks around the acreage, stopping to say hi to the chickens. Watched deer. The bed was a bit hard but I managed to sleep fine. The sleeper/sofa is softer. The apartment requires walking up steep steps. Owners, Will and Dylan had everything ready for my husband and me, stocking the kitchen with fresh eggs, packaged snacks and condiments. They also have games, books, and puzzles in a cabinet. I put together the button puzzle. Although I could hear traffic on a nearby road the other side of thick evergreens, the bungalow's privacy inspired me to practice my violin. Bring your slippers and savor cozy comfort.
