The Neighborhood:
Logan Square is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood located in the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois, USA. It is known for its beautiful tree-lined streets, historic architecture, and bustling commercial corridors.

The neighborhood is roughly bounded by Diversey Avenue to the north, the Chicago River to the east, Bloomingdale Avenue to the south, and Pulaski Road to the west.

Logan Square has a strong Latino community and is home to many Mexican restaurants, taquerias, and bakeries. The neighborhood also has a growing number of trendy bars, cafes, and boutique shops.

There are several parks in the area, including Logan Boulevard, Palmer Square, and Humboldt Park, which is one of the largest parks in Chicago. The 606, a converted elevated rail line, runs through the southern part of the neighborhood and provides a popular recreational trail for biking and walking.

Overall, Logan Square is a dynamic and eclectic neighborhood with a mix of historic and modern elements, and a strong sense of community.

Getting Around:
If you're coming from the airport, O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is the closest major airport to Logan Square, and it is about 14 miles away from the neighborhood. You can take a taxi, ride-sharing service, or public transportation to get to Logan Square from the airport. There is also a Blue Line train that runs directly from O'Hare to Logan Square.

If you're arriving by train, Chicago has two major train stations: Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center. From either of these stations, you can take the CTA train or bus to get to Logan Square. The nearest CTA train station to Logan Square is the Logan Square Blue Line station, and there are several bus routes that run through the neighborhood.

Alternatively, if you prefer to take a taxi or ride-sharing service, you can easily find one outside of both Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center.

- Please be mindful of other tenants and keep noise levels down, especially during quiet hours.

Served us very well as a home base.

We stayed 9 nights at this Logan Park apartment. The pictures in the ad are accurate. We took Uber everywhere so we did not have any parking issues. We never waited more than 5 mins. for a ride either. The apartment was found clean and well appointed. A minor plumbing problem was attended to quickly thanks to great communication with the property manager. Effective and fast communication was the key for a pleasant stay for us. Local grocers and bars were great, Easy access to downtown, Navy Pier and Wrigley Field. We would book here again.

Just Don't

This property does not have functioning heat. We notified the host the morning after check in, and over 24 hours later, the issue was not resolved, so we had to get hotel rooms. The host is refusing to refund our money (and should be paying for our hotel as well). We were willing to overlook the old pizza in the oven, the dust bunnies on the floor, the dirty condition of the building foyer, but no heat in Chicago in November is unacceptable. There si also NO PARKING. Our entire holiday was disrupted because of this situation. I really hope VRBO will step in to rectify this situation.

Great Place To Stay

We were visiting Chicago for a nephew's wedding and needed a place with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for our group. This place has 3 king size super comfortable beds. The neighborhood is up and coming and has some great places to eat that are right around the corner from this property. Loaf Lounge has the best sausage and egg sandwich I have ever tasted. There have been some reviews that said parking was a problem and we did not find that to be the case. Parking is free from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM and never had a problem finding a spot right outside the door to the building. We were usually out and about during the day, so that wasn't a problem for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place. Parking was a challenge with limited availability.

Enjoyed the location and proximity to downtown— 20 minutes away. Not bad.

Excellent rooms but issues in common area

The good: 3 bedrooms with king beds was perfect for my family's needs. We also appreciated the 2 full bathrooms. It's obvious the property was recently renovated and it's nicely done. The bad: The listing is misleading in that it states parking is available. I specifically looked for vrbos that came with parking and this was the only option in the area so I booked it. After booking, detailed instructions were provided that clarified it is paid street parking with limited free parking. In fact there is no free parking within 2 miles of the property and it ended up being $2.50/hr for street parking. Other negative points include: dusty living room floor, lots of ants along the walls, broken ironing board, missing microwave plate making the microwave difficult to use, no dish soap or sponge to wash dishes, we were only given 5 bath towels for 6 people and it took 2 days (more than half of our stay) to get the 6th towel even though I informed the host right away. The common area is far too small to comfortably seat 6 adults. There is a fee of $20/hr to check in early or check out late if it's not occupied. This was the first time I've heard of such a fee and it made a bad unison of the host. All hosts I have encountered in the past were happy to accommodate an early check in or late check out if the unit was available without additional fees. It's just the gracious thing to do. If you don't mind some of these minor inconveniences (and the major one of paid parking), the 3 king sized beds are the best and allows for 6 people to sleep so comfortably. I would consider staying here in the future if management fixes the issues I listed and if I didn't have a car.
