Very cute house, and lots of privacy. We loved the location. Great price for what we got. The only thing is there were only four shower towels when we had five guests which was inconvenient. We were staying for a wedding, and an early check in would have been appreciated since we had to get ready elsewhere before the rehearsal dinner since check in was not until 4. Otherwise great property and would stay again!

We typically have an abundance of linens for all, and early check-in, while always desirable, is not always feasible with the schedule of our housekeeper and her workload. We hope you’ll return to the Mountain and stay with us again!

Great little cottage on the domain. On campus and easy walk to wherever you need. Having been to Sewanee numerous times with my wife (‘22 alum), the cottage is similar shape to the other 10 rentals we’ve booked over the years. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Would rent again.

We loved staying at this little cottage! We hosted a small family Thanksgiving and had room for 5 people to help in the kitchen. The fire pit was wonderful and the location was perfect for the rest we were looking for.

My friend and I rented the cabin for the Shakerag Knitting Getaway. The place is perfect for a comfortable and relaxing experience. We loved having morning coffee on the screened porch, listening to the birds. While the first impression might lead you to think that you will walk into the 1950’s, the hosts have created a pristine and modern place. The interiors are so clean and accessible. Beds are comfy and there are extra blankets of various weights to adjust to your sleeping comfort. We look forward to staying again! Highly recommended.
