BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:


RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: _1 Parking Pass___ Is included with the reservation. PARKING PASSES: _1 Parking Pass Is included with the reservation. *Valid for no longer than 30 days. *Must purchase a new parking pass from our office every 30 days. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Perfect location and family friendly

The patio furniture needs to be updated, not comfortable sitting to watch the beautiful beach view, the master bed is very firm with a creaking foundation. Everything else was outstanding! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location

We had a great time here. Location is great as we could walk to most everything. Unit is newly painted. Views of the beach great. Management is very responsive if there is an issue. Shout out to Brian who came by to repair some minor problems. Having 1 1/2 baths is wonderful. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Need new mattress. Blow up air bed from Walmart would have been more comfortable. Plenty of room for two people (and two small children in bunk beds.)

Fabulous Condo

My BFF and I rented the condo for 3 nights and had the time of our lives! The place was super clean and accommodating to us completely. The only complaint we have is we were told check-out is at 10am, but at 9:15, the housekeeper knocked on the door. NOT A BIG DEAL as we told her we're still packing and will be out by 10am. No further issues. Thank you and we will be returning!!!

mattress in master room very uncomfortable and needs replacing and located on 1st floor with screaming kids from time of check in until we left.will not reserve this room again and chair and chair is very old and needs replacing

Furniture in condo was uncomfortable, dated, and not up to par for this rental. The kitchen cookware was non existent. We could not cook in the condo. Condo could use some TLC!

Unannounced entry and wrong entry code

Entry code that was provided didn’t work, had to call and get a code that would work. No issue after that. A worker from the management company entered while we were there, no notice, no knock on the door or call ahead of time. He claimed he was told nobody was renting and the place would be empty.

Tropic Isles 103

The location of Tropic Isles 103 is perfect. The view of the Gulf is amazing from the balcony. We love first floor condos. The condo itself had plenty of room for everything we needed, from a two sink bathroom, to a good sized living room, a comfy huge king bed, 1.5 baths and a furnished kitchen. We have stayed here two years in a row. The main drawback is the condo itself needs updating - everything from the floors, to the cabinets needing painting, the rug in living room seems old and dirty, the same for the lounge chair in living room. The front door is in desperate need of a paint job or just a new door. The door jam looks like it's been hacked on year after year for various key pads. It's really unfortunate, because we love everything else about the place. If just a little care would be given to the general updating.

Wrong condo

when we reached our condo we were informed they had mad an error. We were unable to stay in the condo we booked. They scrambled to find another place for us. We ended up across the busy street instead of on beach front. Beachball properties then told us we should be happy they found something.They did remove 293$ from our bill but our balcony was facing the street and very noisy, had about a10 minute walk across the busy street to the beach. Overall a huge fail on part of beachball properties. We will never give them our bussiness again and i hope vrbo does the same. Thanks The joness

Drain smell

Started out not so good the door code they gave us didn't work, had to call to get different code. Once in and settled in everything went great. Wife started to smell an odera d found it was coming from the drain. She rinsed well and put a fragrant down the garbage disposal. I think people use the disposal but don't run cold water through after done. My suggestion to the property owner would be, when cleaning up put some orange slices down the disposal and run them through. But disposals must become e rinsed thorally with cold water all the time or food will start to rot if sits for a few w days unused. Other than this we lived the condo and the view.

Overall good time.

It was our first time at Gulf Shores, so we weren’t super familiar with the area. We looked at several areas before settling. Upon arrival, check in was VERY easy. Any questions prior- had been answered. The property itself was at a great location. The only issue we really had was it wasn’t super clean. It is my fault that I didn’t report it immediately, everything was just hectic on our end when we got there. The dishes weren’t super clean so anything we used I rewatched, the counter tops weren’t very clean either. I noticed when we got there (I always check the beds) there was someone’s hair on the beds, which easily could happen. I went ahead and just rewashed the bedding. We took pictures of things that we also noticed were broken when we got there to be safe. The filter in the dryer looked melted, there was a door stopper was on top of a cabinet that was broken off we took a picture of that, a hook that was beside the coffee makers that you could tell had been on the wall, and then the ottoman. I would stay again, just wish it was better maintained.

Building very run down. The pictures shown look amazing and in person it was not great, especially for the amount of money paid. The elevator was broken at one point. Ice maker on fridge wasn’t working well. The drains clogged in the kitchen and the bathtub. Just was not impressed at all. Won’t be returning there.

Sand in My Boots Weekend

Location was perfect for us for the festival. Condo had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were a definite plus! Condo could have been cleaner. The ceilings are very dusty and the floors were not very clean. It does need a some tlc throughout, especially in the master bath and kitchen. Also, the ice machine only worked when it wanted to which was not very often. Front door could use some paint as it's very rusted. The pool and beach were wonderful. Beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay. Price was high I thought but I'm sure it was inflated due to festival.

Disappointing

I think the header says it all. My wife and I have stayed in numerous VRBOs in Gulf Shores and around the country and have been very satisfied with the accommodations. However, this time was an exception. It began at the front door, which was rusty and dirty and stood out from the other doors on the floor of the condo for that reason. Upon entering the condo, we found floors that had built up dirt in the grout along the baseboards, dust on the ceiling above the fan in the living room, cracked and chipped floor tiles, furniture inside and out that was worn and tattered, dresser drawers that were broken, missing outlet covers, a chipped mirror on the bathroom door, and chipped sinks in both bathrooms. I’m aware of Beach Ball Property’s claim that if the condo is dirty, they need to be notified to rectify, however this type of dirty comes from months of neglect. This condo needed more than a cosmetic cleaning. I can’t and won’t begin to understand why a condo like this would be marketed as a “family” destination, it isn’t. I do not plan on renting from Beach Ball Properties again.
