Wilfred, Thanks for reviewing your recent stay at our beautiful property, ‘The Hideaway!’ We’re so glad that you enjoyed this secluded private oasis just steps from the world-famous Siesta Key Beach and Siesta Key Village. We are so glad that you had a fantastic stay with us and that our team was responsive and easy to work with! That is always what we strive for with our guests! We also appreciate your feedback regarding the lack of shared pantry items in the home. I hope to provide some context here on this. As a standard practice at all our homes, especially for the past year during COVID, we do not allow any pantry or food products to transfer from one guest to the next, since we cannot guarantee the safety and sanitation of opened or used products, or if the item(s) have been tampered with from one guest to another. After each guest departs, any remaining items are donated to a good cause. We do however provide a ‘welcome bag’ with starter items to get you through your first day or two before you can make it to a local store. In each welcome bag is 1 roll of paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, several garbage bags, and a small container of laundry detergent. In addition to those amenities there are two rolls of toilet paper supplied per bathroom. We hope this provides some clarification on the amenities we offer to each of our valued guests. We also work with a local grocer, Morton’s Market, for food delivery service and this can be arranged prior to arrival or during your stay. This information is available on our website and in our pre-arrival instructions so that all our guests should be aware of our practices prior to their arrival.
