Great house!

Very happy with this vacation rental! Everything was set up nice, well shown and it was clean. Deck chairs were very comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Lots of space in this house. The kids all loved it too as there were toys which was great. Would definitely recommend this house!

Wonderful place

We just finished a amazing 2 week vacation at this house…Cheryl is a wonderful host…quick to reply to any question and very helpful….this house has plenty of perks…lots of games for kids to play…lots of books for adults…lots and lots of space for our family of 7….it’s a great neighborhood….the management team are very quick to respond to any issues…it’s a truly beautiful house to stay in….would definitely book it again..the downstairs bedroom is a queen…..and the king master bedroom upstairs is huge….a great big walk in closet with a fold up cot and two pack and plays…..you will not be disappointed if you rent this house

I absolutely love this house it had everything my kids and I needed. Great location. Neighbors are very kind. The house was more then what we expected. I’m very happy.

I gave it 3 stars because...

We asked for an early check in, they said no. We had considered adding extra days and knew the house had been vacant for the entire week before our arrival. We asked again letting them know we would be arriving a couple hours earlier from our 17 hour drive from Michigan how much would it cost? $60 for 4 hours, which was more than a 1/4 of a daily rental fee. Other than that there is no flexibilty on early check in. So I waited in the driveway, in front of a vacant house until 4. I understand if they're swamped, but it was empty and no one came or went. That inflexibilty didn't sit well for the trip (we were there for 2 weeks, another reason to not allow 2 extra hours seemed out of place.) The carpet is worn and needs to be replaced, The tile on the main floor was improperly installed and they are starting to come up, 2 missing tiles were covered up by a carpet in the kitchen. There was a big patch in the hallway upstairs that hadn't been primed or painted. The house was in overall nice shape, Kitchen well stocked with items, appliances were good, the pool area was very nice. The maintenence men were the nicest we have had. We had 2 concerns and they came and fixed them quickly. Overall I would recommend the house, just be aware of their strict adherence to policy.

Hello Evelyn Regrettably it was a busy Christmas period for us and the reason for the early check in fee was for the use of the facilities and utilities, which I am sure you would appreciate if it was your own home being rented. At peak times we cannot permit entry until the final inspection has been completed and sent to the office by the inspector and an early check in has been authorized and paid for. Priority is given to those cases and everyone else outside this category is anticipated to arrive from 4.00ppm. This is typical in vacation rentals and in peak periods the schedule and route for inspectors was possibly already set for the day. The wall damage was relating to a plumbing repair and we were waiting for the interior color paint to complete the project. This should not have detracted from your stay as the home is well cared for and comfortable, clean and popular with families. The kitchen tile repair was a quick fix again awaiting matching tiles and was temporary. I think the home speaks for itself and has a lot to offer our guests. Regards Cheryl

Amazing property, communication sucks

To start off, the house was amazing! We traveled with two kids under 10 and they had a great time in the pool and with all the board games and books provided. The amount of space in this home was more than we could ask for. However, my problem is with the owner. Over the duration of our one week stay, we messaged the owner over 4 times and only got 1 reply from her. The home was located in a gated community on one night, the gate was locked and we were never given the access code so we had to wait in the car for another car to enter and we tailgated behind them. Very inconvenient. They never reached out to us. Also, tons of recycle trash was left over from previous guest and it states in the handbook left at the home that we will be charged for any left over trash not thrown out on the appropriate trash day YET we were never informed on WHERE to find the trash bins and where we can throw out the recycle especially since the bin was already full from previous guest. Still, owner never reached back to us. Nonetheless, the property was great. Just very unprofessional of the owner for their lack of communication.
