Absolutely lovely stay! House was a great size, very clean, very comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. The owner was quick to respond and so helpful. It was especially nice to be able to walk and sit along the creek for some peace.
So much to do and so little time. Lots to do and enjoy in the area and on the property and not enough time to do all we wanted. Guess we’ll have to visit another time.
Incredible property. We loved playing in the creek, playing pickleball and relaxing on the porch. Great proximity to Sisters and loads of outdoor activities, hikes etc. Can’t wait to return!
This is one of my favorite vacation rentals. It has it all, beautiful house, fire pit, river and pickleball court. It’s in a great location only minutes from Sister’s. Would highly recommend this house!! Host was super friendly, responsive and helpful.
We all enjoyed our stay at this cozy house on the creek, playing pickle ball, enjoying the backyard fire pit & hot tub. House was very close to town and numerous hikes to waterfalls, lakes and rivers. Will be returning for sure!
This home is beautiful and clean with everything you need. Towels, sheets, cook wear , etc. all high quality. The layout of the home was ideal for our large multi- family vacations. The grounds have so much to offer as well with the pickle ball court, large grass area, hammocks, and the beautiful River.
House and property were beautiful and exceeded expectations. Accommodates a bigger group well. We commented how we would like to come back with our families to enjoy house again. Thank you!
Our mountain biking group just wrapped our 4th annual trip to Aspen Meadows - every year there are terrific additions to the house/property which makes our stay even better. Chris is absolutely meticulous, and it shows in every detail. Looking forward to our 5th year rendezvous in 2024!
Nice house, location is okay but does have close neighbors. I’ve never rented a place that charged a cleaning fee and then asked you to do a bunch of laundry and chores before you left which made it not possible to relax the morning of check-out.

Thanks for staying with us! Just to clarify, we do have 2 direct neighbors; one on each side of the property that are approximately 500 yards away each from our home. While you can see one of our neighbors' home from the living room, through the trees, the view of the other neighbor can only be seen when outside the home. While we are on 8.5 acres, we feel that there is a component of privacy mixed in with a small neighborhood feel. We can certainly do a better job of explaining that in our listing to avoid any confusion.
Due to the size of the house, we do ask our guests to start the dishwasher and strip all beds that were used. During the holidays or high season, turning our home around in the allotted 5 hour window can be very difficult without some basic departure cleanup. Were sorry for any inconvenience that this caused on your checkout day: our intent is not to stress our guests out at time of departure and that these basic requirements don't take longer than 15-20 minutes.
Thanks again for staying with us at Aspen meadow Lodge!
Very nice property. Large enough for 8 very comfortably. Great pickle ball court, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Hot tub was ver nice, but a little small. Three at most at any one time. We would rent it again.
Beautiful home on gorgeous grounds just outside of town. There was plenty of space for everyone in our group of 8. Between the private pickleball court, ping pong table, cornhole, bocce and croquet, we were never bored… and we whiled away many an hour in the chairs by the creek and swinging in the hammock! The home was well- stocked, spotlessly clean and in great condition. The owners were quick to respond and friendly when we had a question. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful meadow with river running by. Plenty of room for our big family. Would love to return!
Very nice house close to hiking areas. Enjoyed the hot tub. Our only problem was with a water leak alarm that kept going off on us. Finally discovered one of the toilets wasn't shutting off properly. Once we turned off the valve completely, this got better. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking which we like to do on our vacations. Very quiet and relaxing.

Thanks for the kind review and very sorry about the water leak alarm. Its a new system that we put in after we experienced water damage from last winter. We finally got it dialed in properly last week and fixed 2 toilets that were a source of the problem.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention and sorry for any inconvenience. Hope you keep Aspen Meadow Lodge in mind for your next Central Oregon visit.
This is a beautiful house with high quality finishes. The location is close to Sisters, but close to a major road with a bit of noise. The river is a short walk on the beautiful property, but would have loved more creek noise than road noise. A very special place for families (friends) to gather. Can imagine it is great in the summer when it's warm and days are long. Very clean and well stocked overall. Fireplace is a must and is great in cold weather. Sincerely appreciate the great stock of wood for the fires.
Beautiful house on magical land.. we saw an abundance of wildlife in the backyard and along the creek. Nice spot to cool your feet off. We ended up putting our pop up tent over the picnic table because it was hot. We couldn't eat breakfast in the kitchen because there were (no exaggeration) nearly 30 flies on the window over the corner dining area our first morning but we did spend some time opening the screens to get most of them out.
