Great hosts and very clear check-in and check-out instructions.I haven’t experienced such peace and quiet in years! It was so quiet that we were probably the only ones making any noise. The property had everything we needed and more than we expected. The location was unbeatable, and the fishing was great. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is a beautiful house in the countryside with a lake that can feel like your own family’s. Many times we were on the lake no one else was around. This is such a relaxing experience. The house has everything you need. They recently renovated and upgraded so much in the house. The nature here is unbelievable. We’ve come here four years now, and this year we saw a bald eagle and an otter. This is a great place for kids of all ages. There’s basketball, air hokey, foosball, and so many games. There is enough entertainment for a rainy and sunny days. When coming here, you have to realize that this is tucked away from everything. There aren’t many restaurants so we grill and cook ourselves. If you want an exciting day on a pontoon, we take a day trip to Lake Wallenpaupack and rent a boat from Pocano Action Sports and go tubing for half a day. This is a magical home where when you walk on the property you uncleanch from daily life and breathe in the peaceful nature.

This cottage is magical. It boosts lots of lake front for guests to relax and an open, airy feel on the inside where guests can spread out. It was very clean and full of many places to take in the view of the lake. We made many memories here and would stay again.

We loved having people who love Shehawken like we do! Please Forgive the 4 star on overall review for first category. It was supposed to be five star and changed just as I hit “send”. You are wonderful guests and we would highly recommend having you stay anywhere! You showed so much respect for the property and certainly paid attention to details! Have a great winter and you are welcome anytime!!!
