The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place dirty towels in washer and start.
Empty and dispose of used food in fridge. Gather all garbage from kitchen and bathroon1s and place in dumpster outside.
If any furniture was moved, please replace it to its original location. Patio must be left tidy and BBQ grill needs scrapped if used.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No, Fires inside or outside the cabin. Including candles or camp fires.

Beautiful home in the perfect location!

Our family loved this home! It is beautiful and exactly as listed, communication with the host was fast and easy, and it was close to everything we had planned for the weekend. We will stay again and would recommend to others!

Great rental for a wine trail trip

I've stayed at this rental twice and loved both times. The property is a great location if you in Shawnee visiting wineries. The rental owner is great at communicating check in/out details as well.

Our stay here was amazing! The house is beautiful and well decorated. The location was great and very peaceful, but also conveniently located near Blue Sky! We had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space to relax! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Adorably nestled in the heart of Southern Illinois wine country. There are many nearby things to do; such as hiking, zip lining, and relaxing at the wineries. The place is absolutely adorable, clean & cozy. We will be back to experience again!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The communication with the owner was open and prompt . It was so cute and fully furnished with everything you need . The beds were so comfortable. I can’t wait to stay here again . 10/10 recommend this place .

We liked everything. You have to rent this place to read what I wrote in the visitor log. I do have one complaint. Dave and Jan can never be partners again in cards. Sheri and I lost every game. Oh, Thanks for providing games, puzzles, and (I guess) cards.

Absolutely LOVED this home! It was the ideal location for the work I needed to complete. Also had amazing views of the wildlife outside the kitchen window around dusk! So quiet and peaceful!!! Additionally, the host was so kind and accommodating. Only complaint is my time there was too short :(. Hope to be back very soon!

Beautiful home located right next to Blue Sky winery!

Beautiful place with plenty of room! Also, located in a great location if you are coming to enjoy the wineries. The only thing was that the list the host provided us said they had coffee and shampoo/conditioner but there was not any of those in the house. So if you are a morning coffee drinker, make sure to bring your own cause you have to drive about 20-30 minutes to the closest town. There was a coffee pot, just no coffee.

My friends and I rented this property for a weekend & it was absolutely perfect!! As close as you can get to Blue Sky Winery, and within 20 minutes of cool hiking in Giant City. House was very clean and cozy! There was also 24 hour surveillance of the property & it felt very safe. My friends and I will definitely be back :)
