100 feet of private beach awaits!

De La Sol is a 3 bed, 2 bath GULF FRONT home with with large windows throughout guaranteeing spectacular ocean views. We are located in a small, quiet neighborhood with one 1 row of houses behind us. This means our beach is never crowded.

Home sleeps 9. One bed is a twin rollaway. Private outdoor shower, grill, beach toys, & outdoor fish-cleaning sink.


1 dog up to 50 pounds or 2 dogs up to 25 pounds each are allowed for a $250 fee. Contact me to pay.


PLEASE NOTE - When booking, VRBO will prompt payment for the full amount. However, only 50% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking and the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to check in.

Living Room:

Features a large flat screen TV and in-wall sound system with bluetooth connectivity to your phone. Most importantly, it has amazing views of the ocean! Right outside the living room is a large screened porch with 180 degree ocean views!


Separate Rec Room:

That’s right, a separate living area for the kids (or adults :). Features a large flat screen TV with in-wall HDMI hookup for gaming console and pull-out queen sofa with an extra thick mattress. The room can be also closed off with the pocket door.


Kitchen:

All needed cookware, all necessary small and large appliances (including dishwasher), bar seating for 2 and table seating for 6-8.


Master Bedroom 1:

Features a king size bed w/ brand new pillow top mattress, 600 count linens, flatscreen TV, and dresser. Views of the ocean with a private balcony overlooking the ocean.


Master Bedroom 2:

Features a king size bed w/ brand new pillow top mattress, 600 count linens, flatscreen TV, and dresser. Views of the ocean with a private balcony overlooking the ocean.


Bedroom 3:

All new furniture! Features a brand new queen bed, pillow top mattress, 600 count linens, flatscreen TV, and private balcony.


Monthly / Snowbirds:
January and February and monthly only. Check in for each month is on the 1st.

We only offer exceptions to our cancellation policy for a mandatory evacuation of the area due to a tropical storm or hurricane. If you would like protection in case something else arises that may cause a change to your travel plans, we recommend you purchase independent travel insurance.

The house was well maintained and located on a beautiful secluded part of the beach in a spacious quiet neighborhood. The furniture, even the porch furniture, was comfortable to sit on. The beds were comfortable too. We liked the open concept of the kitchen, dining and living room. We had a great time will definitely visit again!

We loved everything about this property. The house was very spacious and the beds extremely comfy. The beach was very private. The kitchen was very well equipped for those night we didn't want to go out to eat.The back porch was our favorite place to gather in the evenings. This house gave us a much needed relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend staying here.

This is a fantastic place to enjoy the florida panhandle and Port St. Joe. Overall the property is as pictured and the listing is accurate. The views of the beach are unbeatable and very private. There is driving on the beach so there is an occisional car going past but other than that we were by ourselves. The host is very responsive and is more than willing to accomidate any request. The only problem was the house wasn't cleaned the best before our arrival (pretzel pieces in the one bedroom and coffee grounds in the coffee pot). Otherwise, a fantastic rental would stay again.

Overall a great place to stay

The house was large and open, clean and had nice space outdoors to enjoy the weather. The kitchen was older than the pictures portrayed, but still had what we needed to enjoy our week long stay!

Amazing location

We loved the privacy that this beach offers… as well as watching dolphins, seeing the horses, and having a fire on the beach. We definitely plan on returning but are also now actively looking to buy ourselves a home in the area because we loved it that much!

Location was great! We enjoyed eating in Apalachicola, Port St Joe and Cape San Blas…enjoyed the screened in porch (but you might want to use bug spray).. loved how convenient the beach was to our house; there were no negative surprises …kitchen could use some updating; … we would definitely go back…

Stunning Sunrise/Sunset Views. Comfy home!

Excellent communication from host. Easy check in. Super relaxing vacation with our family and two dogs. Quiet beach with stunning sunrise and sunset views. The back patio is a great place to relax and sunbathe and the large dining table served well for game nights! Lots of kitchen counter space for cooking. Would definitely return! Loved every minute!

We love to just unwind on vacation and this house was the perfect answer. If you enjoy being ON the beach, walking for miles without piles of people, then this is your place. One of the most restful vacations you can ask for...let nature calm your busy life and stay here. And bring your dog:)

Bad weather didn’t make it bad!

We absolutely loved this house! The screened porch was so comfortable. We really enjoyed the view and just sitting there and talking when it rained. We have loved coming to the cape and the pass for many years. This house is our new favorite!

Relaxing Beach Vacation

The beach was very private and dog friendly! We loved watching the sunrises and sunsets from the enclosed porch. The porch furniture was very comfy! The house was very clean and was as described and the view can’t be beat! We seen dolphins almost everyday and a beautiful owl! We would love to come back! It was just what we needed!

Overall, a great experience. Four stars due to the condition of the living room sofa and outdoor furniture--both were worn and had a musky smell. We spent most of our time on the beach and exploring the area, so where it wasn't a huge deal, it might be a bigger concern for someone who spends a lot of time inside. Upon arrival, the screen on the back porch was torn, and one of the toilets was clogged. The owner was very responsive. On day two, someone came to cut the screen--my husband was able to unclog the toilet. We LOVED the extra-wide lot, which provided extra beach space. Neighbors were respectful, and we enjoyed an uncrowded beach daily. New living room sofa, Trek decking, outdoor ceiling fans, and a private pool would make this an A vacation home. The air conditioning works great — bring extra blankets!

Peaceful and we could bring our pets

What an excellent home and beachfront! Quiet, just as we’d hoped. The host was great. The home was clean and comfortable, and instructions in the paperwork were easy to understand. The best part was being able to bring our dogs with us. They travel everywhere we go and we really appreciated being able to rent somewhere so nice with them along!

Amazing Views

Absolutely gorgeous gulf front views. House had two master suites and it was perfect for our family. Could have used a few more towels and oven mitts. Kitchen cabinets were old and in need of an update. Lanai furniture was comfy and again, the view was breathtaking!

Wonderful Indian Pass Vacation

We stayed over Christmas and New Year’s, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is quiet, and beautiful. We spent a good portion of our time either walking on the beach, or relaxing on the outside back decks when the weather was nice. We regularly saw bald eagles flying above, and dolphin pods swimming by. The bedrooms are well appointed, and we found the home to be well cared for, and comfortable. The owner was very accessible, and quickly responded to the few questions we had. Check-in was easy, and the online house manual was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we hope to return again.

Great View

Nice upgrades to the property since the last owner. The new owners respond quickly to questions. Old Florida vibe, small town and uncrowded beaches. We vacation in this area every year. No high rises or theme parks. Just sit on the beach and enjoy the waves. The best part of the house is the screen porch, you never want to come inside. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great location on the beach

Perfect location on the beach. However, the house needs an update. It’s much more rundown than it appears in the photos. The house was not well cleaned (or seemingly at all) before we arrived and we had to have the maintenance come to replace 11 lightbulbs. Another thing to note, that is not in the listing, is that driving is permitted on the beach which would have been nice to know ahead of time. All that being said we had a fabulous time on the beach.

Ultimate Relaxation

Incredible views, plenty of room, very quiet neighborhood. Lol. Teenage kids woke us up scared someone was trying to break in. It was a huge bear getting into the trash cans in the front yard. Beautiful but dangerous. Who would have thought.

Peaceful Thanksgiving with Family

Great location in Gulf Pines. Directly on the beach with expansive views. Loved the screened in porch. Host was very accommodating with our furry family members. House was as described. Kitchen needs a little updating as the cabinet paint is old and worn. They felt sticky to the touch. Most of the pots and pans had to be washed before using (not necessarily the host's fault, but housekeeping should be required to check). I think this could be fixed by providing Brillo pads since the sponge provided doesn't get the job done. We brought our own, so all the pans are clean now! Other than having to ask for a forks (which were eventually provided by management) and having maintenance come fix the shower handle (wouldn't adjust beyond luke warm) and a running toilet, everything was enjoyable. We would return to this property!

Can’t wait to come back!

The property exceeded our expectations. The two main bedrooms both had gorgeous ocean views that opened out to balconies and the screened-in porch. We spend the majority of our time on the porch since it was covered and comfortable. (You should still bring bug repellant because we had a few gnats that came through the screen and they bit everyone). We loved watching dolphins and pelicans from the house. The beach was also beautiful and incredibly private. I chose this property in particular because I didn’t want to feel crowded on the beach, and it was the perfect choice! We didn’t cook much at the house, but they had most things we needed. Some of the knives and can openers were dull so bring your own if you’re picky, but we were able to accomplish the basics (Mac and cheese and margaritas). I can’t recommend this home enough. My family is already looking forward to returning next year!

Pros:-Loved the decks and patio! Having two master suites and two living rooms was awesome too-We got to see so much wildlife: horses every evening on the beach, sharks, dolphins, and planes multiple times a day which my kids loved-Really enjoyed the privacy and having the beach to ourselves-Doing a bonfire on the beach was so cool!-The sand isn’t shelly, so it’s ideal for little ones that are crawling-The host was really communicative -I was expecting it to be extremely remote with nothing around, but there was plenty within 20 minutes for grocery shopping and eating (Hunts was delicious)-The outdoor shower was great for getting off the sand-Super short walk to the beachCons:-If you are expecting “gulf” powder beach and clear water you will be disappointed. The water was pretty brown and the beach was more of a tan sand. It was clearer in Cape San Blas -Having detached bathrooms while sharing a house with others wasn’t exactly ideal, but it worked okay. However, there is no counter space in the bathrooms and our bathroom closet only had one shelf so it was useless -The house was nice, but my biggest complaint was cleanliness. There was one kitchen dish towel and when we got there it had a wad of hair in it. There were bugs in the kitchen. It had scuffed paint on the walls etc. -A few things were broken, but that wasn’t a big deal to us. -The darkening curtains in the extra bedroom didn’t cover the entire doorsOverall a good trip!!
