Glacier Lookout - A Retreat Where Scenic Views of the Rockies Meet Cozy Comfort

Glacier Lookout is a unique and spacious barn style 2 story Villa on the West side of Divide Ridge and overlooks the East Rockies. The upper deck is at tree canopy height providing almost a tree house experience. The views from the upper deck have no equal to any other vacation rental property on the East side of Glacier Park. There is a 270° view of the Rockies, St Mary Lake and the Continental Divide Ridge to the East and the sunset over the mountains.

There is typically a variety of wildlife on and around the property that include bear, horses, deer, elk, fox and moose. Because of the remoteness from large towns there is dark night sky for fantastic star gazing and mystic camp fires.

The cabin was built in 2021 with all modern appliances and all amenities of a new home. The Villa is a short 10mi to St. Mary and to Many Glacier park entrances. The property is 180 acre with walking trails on and on the adjacent to property.

The home has 2 queen bedrooms. There is also a upstairs living area that has a comfy double size couch futon bed.

A truly wonderful place on Glacier’s east side. Great proximity to park sites and Waterton as well. Very clean and perfectly appointed! Views are great. We hope to return!

Great stay! Location for Many Glacier is about as good as it gets. Property was nice and quiet at night. We had a camp fire a couple nights which was great! Beds were comfortable and it was plenty cool at night even without a/c on the lower level. Overall a nice property and a fun experience in a really remote area.

Great house in a remote but close to the park location. Getting to the house required driving 10-15 mins on a gravel road and through some horse gates, but the extra drive was well worth it. We saw deer, a bear, and a moose after turning off the main road. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the host was responsive to questions. Two queen beds and a futon sleep 5-6 comfortably. The kitchen has the necessities and an island with 4 seats and we made good use of the washing machine and dryer. The best part about the house are the views from the deck and outside. The house feels very remote and the views of the mountains are incredible, with unobstructed mountain views across two sides of the house.

Incredible stay

Glacier lookout was a total hidden gem. When my friends and I pulled up we were in shock of how incredible the view was and how nice and cozy and cabin itself was. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

I am an outdoor enthusiast whom fell in love in both Glacier and Waterton National Parks when I was a child. I jumped at the chance to purchase this unique property when it came available from a grand child of Jack Wagner, a historic pioneer of this area.

Spectacular location overlooking near Glacier Park and within 15 minutes drive to Many Glacier and St. Mary Park entrance. 1 hr from Waterton National Park Entrance in Canada.
This property is new, beautiful and is designed for travelers that want the same amenities of home. The location and views from the upper deck have no equal to any other vacation rental property on the East side of Glacier Park.
