About the host

Hosted by Dustin

Host profile image
Hi! We are your hosts, Krista & Dustin. We are locals and absolutely love New Orleans. We can talk about it all day so never hesitate to reach out to ask any question you have about the city. We really enjoy being hosts and providing people with a safe, clean and charming space to be in while they enjoy what the city has to offer.

Why they chose this property

This property has all the New Orleans traditional charm but is a brand new renovation so without the old house issues. We kept the most interesting pieces of the property's history, like the 100+ year old floors, original fireplace and repurposed the original beams to build the loft and rafters but you'll also experience modern day luxury with the brand new kitchen, paint, central AC, appliances and fixtures.

As true locals, we can tell you there's no better (and real) part of NOLA. There's a bayou, a local water way, right up the street with a walking path around it. There's no other bayou to be seen in the city. We have a bustling energy around here with local restaurants, cafes and bars. Walk the neighborhood to see the sights and you may stumble across a live brass band along the bayou- it's just another Tuesday around here. You may see the neighbor playing the piano on his porch or riding his bike with his flute. Don't forget City park, one of the top 10 largest national parks is a walk away. You can grab a local order of beignets inside the park while you sit next to a pond with ducks passing by and oak trees hanging over your head.

If you need breakfast and a coffee go see Diane at Llamara café, for dinner go to Santa Fe and tell them we sent you but but for a drink go to the neighborhood bar Pals- where all of the locals go. It's that kind of neighborhood. Welcome to NOLA!

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. This is the dreamiest part of New Orleans that only the most seasoned NOLA travelers know about.
