Our week in uchaux
Virginie welcomed us very pleasantly, with a bottle of wine and a little gift for the children. She allowed us to check in a few hours earlier, there were no tenants before us. We really appreciated that. We loved the pool, the pool was great for the children.
In the days following there were one after the other issues, some small, some bigger. The freezer compartment of the refrigerator [very old and not clean] downstairs was broken. The induction cooker did not function. There was no cover on a socket, [the children are 2 and 3 years old] The wooden deck by the pool was made out of old wood that was crumbling, several times we had splinters. The bed on the first floor was sagging [we even helped to replace it.] There was a strong smell on the first floor [smoke/renovation material?] The toilet upstairs did not function. The house of Virginie was not what we expected, Virginie didn’t have a an understanding reaction and told us these were just small things. Overall the value for money is not as expected.
