This place is located in a quiet and beautiful location. It's close to town and has everything you need. It's clean and has a cute front porch for morning coffee. Great stay! Thanks!
The Bison cabin was larger than I expected. It was clean, easy and had everything we needed. Being able to do laundry during our stay was a huge bonus! The area was beautiful and stars were magical. I would definitely stay here again!
Cozy cabin set just outside Medora, ND. The property was clean and comfortable. There is a rental spot right next to the cabin for a camper. I could see if you had loud neighbors that it could be loud, but our neighbors were quiet. We enjoyed the stay.
This place was spotless! It was so clean, spacious for our family of five and had a great view. It was convenient, only five minutes from town and the national park. We loved sitting outside and watching the sunset over the badlands. The inside was spacious and clean.
Fantastic location! Close enough to town but far enough away to feel private. The check in process was super easy and the communication was always prompt and welcoming. The supplies in the house were super helpful. I’ve heard stories from other places where you think you have a full kitchen and there is one mug and 2 plates but we felt truly at home. Across the road we found the trail head for the Maah Daah Hey and a state park. We enjoyed a beautiful hike in the evening and the next morning. We walked out on the deck and could see horses on the butte across the road. Other guests to the location were all quiet and it lends itself to a perfect location for a future family reunion. Check out was simple and we will definitely be back!

A very different type of property. Super scenic very quiet not luxurious at all but that was expected
We were just at this location for a couple of nights. It’s proximity to Theodore Roosevelt National park and Medora made it a great choice for us. The area is quiet with a couple of bar/grills near by that serve very good food and a decent selection of craft brews. We would have preferred 2 bedrooms with queen beds vs 1 with a queen and the other with 2 twins since we we’re traveling with another couple but for a couple nights it worked out fine. Otherwise it’s a very comfy place and we would not hesitate recommending it.
There aren’t any grocery stores near by so we ended up dining out both nights, but the kitchen is very functional with a nice gas Weber gas grill if you bring your groceries with you to the area.

July 2024 Stay
The cabin was clean and comfortable. There was a camper parked directly adjacent to the cabin in a hook-up spot that was rented separately - we were not aware those could be booked out while the cabin was occupied. The neighbors in the camper were quiet so wasn’t a huge issue, but would be good to know you should expect to have neighbors if you book a cabin. There was a snake living under the stairs of the cabin - I believe the hole was later blocked with a cinder block. Very nice to have laundry in the unit as well as the kitchen with full size appliances.

My husband is an amputee and couldn't take a bath because there was no plug for the drain. The sink also did not have a plug. Otherwise, super nice, clean, quiet.

Shared Space with Permanent RV Tenants
The cabin we were assigned to had permanent RV tenants right next to the building. We could hear their dog barking and their door shutting as we laid in bed. Their one vehicle would get parked right alongside the living room area of the cabin as they came and went rather often. Our experience would have been much better if we had a different cabin. For the price, I'd expect some privacy and less check out chores.
The cabin was perfect for our stay in Medora. My brother stayed with us as we had family staying from all over. One of my cousins rented another cabin! The cabin was very comfortable and easy to get to. My only concern was that there were campers literally 5 feet to the side of the cabin and it first appeared that they were staying at the cabin and made check-in confusing.

The property was clean and had everything we needed to cook for our family that stayed in the cabin and those that were camping there too. We had a great time!
Quiet and comfortable cabin for a couple nights stay. Close to everything you want to do and see in Medora. We would book again. Quick response from Brad on any questions asked.
We stayed at the Bison. The view there was great. Weather was perfect. Had all the amenities we needed. The only down side, was a camper parked 6 ft from our cabin. Thank goodness, they were on the opposite side of the view, and they were very quiet.
