The other two bedrooms and full bath along with laundry room are in the basement which is lighted with one room having a french door and window and the other room with a window. The hot tub is off of the front covered porch and is private with good views of the Big Horn Mountains and the Teton Range!

Visiting the cabin in the summer months can be such a treat, with plenty of activities in the area you are sure to stay busy! Enjoy a scenic hike or an adventurous mountain bike ride on over 200 miles of trails located just minutes from the cabin. Journey approximately 20 minutes to Grand Targhee Resort where they offer a scenic chair lift ride to the summit of Fred’s Mountain, kid’s summer camps, picturesque horseback rides, a refreshing swimming pool, or reach new heights on the euro-bungee trapeze and climbing tower. Grand Targhee Resort also maintains an award-winning disc golf course and many trails for all riding levels at their mountain bike park. But the fun doesn’t stop there, Teton Valley also holds multiple golf courses designed by pro golfers as well as over 120 miles of blue ribbon fly fishing on 3 rivers including, Henry’s Fork, South Fork, and the Teton River. After a day of summer fun, fire up the barbeque at the cabin and partake in a family-friendly competition of horseshoe or wind down at the end of the day with a campfire, don’t forget the s’mores fixins!

During the winter months, hit the slopes of Grand Targhee Resort. Located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Grand Targhee’s abundance of light powder snow (more than 500 inches annually) and lack of lift lines creates an uncrowded skier and snowboarder paradise. If downhill skiing is not what you desire, head to Teton Canyon where you can enjoy free groomed trails for classic or skate skiing. The Activity Center at Grand Targhee Resort also offers an abundance of winter activities to choose from including snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snow biking, sleigh ride dinners and backcountry adventures. When returning to the cabin after a long day of outdoor adventure, warm up with hot cocoa by the gas fireplace or enjoy the warmth of the outdoor hot tub while soaking in the beauty of the Teton Valley.

Travel just under an hour to Jackson, WY, where the Wild West truly lives on! Stroll through town to visit the numerous outdoor stores, art galleries and shops, take in the National Museum of Wildlife Art across the street from the National Elk Refuge or “head for the hills” to explore Teton Village.

Last but certainly not least, visit the mountains, valleys, lakes, and rivers of Grand Teton National Park. This national forest is home to abundant forests, wildflowers, and wildlife. The park also has a rich cultural history with old homesteads and cattle ranches to explore and photograph. Walk on a trail built by the Civilian Conservation Corps or one that American Indians or fur trappers might have used in the 1820s. Ride a bike or paddle a canoe. Only an hour drive from the cabin and there is something for everyone.

This cabin is the perfect base-camp for the many activities and attractions the Teton Valley offers. Please refer to our calendar and send us an email to reserve your stay today.

We liked the cabin, very quiet neighborhood. Cute loft area and the hot tub was great! The only advice I have is to please trim those front tall trees so you can actually see the Tetons from living room. Same goes for the back loft upstairs. The pictures show there's mountain views but the trees are blocking it. Other than that, great cabin for a getaway.

Parents getaway

We sent my parents on a week trip to the mountains, and they spoke only positive things about their stay! The place was clean and the views were incredible, according to them! We can't wait to visit ourselves soon and take the entire family next time!

Family Trip

We booked the house for a trip to Teton and Yellowstone. It’s got a fantastic view and is in great shape. My kids loved the loft with all kinds of kids toys. It is an hour from Teton and hour and a half from Yellowstone.

It never gets old

We've been staying at this cabin every year for at least the last 10 years. It never gets old. The hospitality, the views, O'Rourke's restaurant, floating the Teton River, Jackson, Yellowstone. We'll be going back again next year. The worst part is seeing the Tetons in the restview mirror.

Comfortable Cabin in Idaho with a killing view

Very well designed, clean, comfortable, well supplied Cabin. Close to Driggs. 1.5 hourse to Yellow Stone, 1 hour away from Jackson Hole. Fantastic view on the Teton mountains. Cabin is located in a small community, very tranquile. Host had very clear and useful instructions and tips. A lot of toys and kids books for my child to play. Comfortable to host 3 couples + kids if needed for a short stay. Strong recomendation.

Above expectations!

The view of the Grand Tetons is absolutely stunning! I couldn’t believe how lucky we were to be in that location. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It even had board games, and toys upstairs for kids. We loved being in this cabin so much, I wish we had more time to spend there. Thanks so much!

Beautiful property

Love this cabin! Very clean and comfortable, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels in kitchen & bathrooms, comfy beds, plenty of soaps, paper products, even laundry soap. Beautiful landscaping and nice big yard. The location is quiet and private yet easy access to hiking and Teton National Park was about an hour away. Driggs is a lovely town with good restaurants and great grocery stores. Property manager and owner quick to respond and help. We all agreed we would stay here again! Very highly recommend!

Dryer didn’t work and carpets weren’t swept

We came to this property while visiting Grand Tetons. The location was good but the house was not what we expected. We were told there was working washer and dryer and the dryer did not work. We had two loads of wet laundry. We had to find somewhere else to re-wash and dry (which we had to pay for). The floors downstairs didn’t look like they had been swept and the furniture on the front porch was so dirty we couldn’t even set on them without cleaning them. On a good note the property manager was responsive when messages were sent.

Grandest Teton Experience

First of all we’d like to thank the host for sharing this amazing home with us. We could not have chosen a better host, location, and overall experience for our family. We made memories here that will last the rest of our lives. Absolutely gorgeous views, super quaint and cozy little cottage with a more spacious and open feel to it. You can’t beat the view from any room in the house, and the only way we could describe it is majestic awe….you’re just in awe everyday you wake up and look at the Tetons. You have every amenity available to you, the house is super clean, the location is unbeatable if you’re into skiing, snowboarding or mountain biking. The host was always available for questions and always responded very quickly. Driggs has everything you need. Price of amenities in area is very comparable to the northeast where we live. Not cheap, but not outrageous resort town prices like Jackson, Stowe, or Sunday River either. Local gear shops, places to eat, and grocery stores have everything you need. Locals are super friendly and helpful. Our hometown in New England is very similar so we felt like we were at home immediately.

Perfect for our family

Very restful and clean. Wonderful amenities. I suppose the thing we were most surprised about was how convenient it was as a base for all the outdoor activities in and around the Tetons. We needed 3 BR and it was just perfect for our family.

Host profile image
We are the Dreisbach Family. My husband and I bought this cabin in 2000. At that time the cabin did not have a yard or a basement and over the years we added some things and improved the property. In 2002 we were married on top of Grand Targhee overlooking the Tetons and held our reception at our cabin. In 2004 we moved to Big Sky, Montana where we own a construction company and try and keep up with our three children. We love making regular trips back to our cabin to enjoy beautiful Teton Valley and all that it offers.

Why they chose this property

There are many reasons my family chose this property. The Teton Valley and surrounding area is tranquil and serene with spectacular views and many opportunities for adventure. The cabin is in close proximity to Driggs, Idaho, if you need to run into town. It is also not far from Grand Targhee Resort, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Jackson, WY. We hope that you enjoy this cabin as much as our family does!

What makes this property unique

Nothing compares to the unobstructed views of the Tetons. It's a view you that will long be imprinted in your mind!
