We had a great stay in Driggs this winter. The condo is comfortable, with a great sectional seating area, well equipped kitchen and dining area. It is close to town, and a quick drive to Grand Targhee ski resort and about 45 minutes to Jackson. Two things to note, however, and the reason for only giving 4 stars. First, the listing did not make clear that the bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs, while the kitchen, dining and living space is upstairs, nor that the master bedroom and bathroom, also upstairs, were locked and unavailable for use. This posed an issue because the thermostat for the entire unit is in the master bedroom. Fortunately, our hosts allowed us access to the master bedroom so that we could adjust the heat ourselves. But this meant that in order for the living spaces upstairs to be a reasonable temperature (69-70), the downstairs bathroom and bedrooms were freezing cold. This also meant that we were unable to use the fireplace as it is upstairs and would throw the temperature balance off further. We suggested to the hosts that they supply space heaters for the lower level to address this upstairs/downstairs temperature conundrum. If they do, this will be a great condo for other winter travelers.
