We had a great stay! The condo was clean, well-kept and easy to find. The washer and dryer was a huge plus while on a long roadtrip! Perfect location for exploring Jackson and the Tetons. Driggs has great restaurants as well, which made our stay so nice.

A peaceful retreat

The pictures online didn’t do this place justice! The living room was cozy and had a lovely view, and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Outside, we really enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from the private deck. Overall, a great home away from home!

Wonderful getaway

This property was a perfect, quiet little spot for a mountain biking trip. The gorgeous view and huge property and deck were perfect for long morning coffees while watching the sunrise. The house itself is large for two people, has everything you need, the new bed is comfy, and the owners are next door and super helpful and friendly. We will be using this as our Teton Valley Basecamp when we come back.

Wonderful time

Excellent all the way around. Certainly met our expectations. The Teton Valley is a fascinating place to visit, and the location of this house was absolutely ideal. The house was well equipped, and the bed was great! On top of all that, the weather was perfect, cool mornings for coffee on the deck watching the sun come up over the Grand Teton. Great experience!

Quiet place near Grand Targhee

This is a great location and not far from the skiing in Alta. I used it as a base for exploring the Tetons and Yellowstone. The bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen are nice, directions to get to the property were clear, and everything was clean, worked, etc. If I find myself in Driggs again I won't hesitate to book it once more. Recommended.

Very comfortable

Great location for skiing nice big bedroom and closet, king size bed a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. The bathroom and shower was a little small but serviceable and towels were plentiful as well as paper products. Having boot trays for ski boots and shoes was a thoughtful touch. Over all, nice place, we would stay there again.

Cobblecrest Cul-de-sac

In town but also out in the country. The best of both world's. Accessible to Grand Targhee Ski Resort (11 miles away), also the river just outside of downtown Driggs. All services within a short distance, restaurants, grocery store as well as a hospital if ever needed. Views of the Tetons. Property is quiet and immaculately maintained. Washer and Dryer, well-appointed kitchen, wi-fi and TV. We have stayed here several times and hope to return again.

Great Ski Spot

Well appointed and spacious with everything needed to eat, rest, relax and ski. Great bedding with super comfortable feather pillows. Right on the second to last bus stop on the way to Grand Targhee. Easy one block walk to the bus stop. Also, close to town. Great views from the home and situated in an uncrowded, quiet area of the neighborhood surrounded by open areas. The hosts are gracious and responsive.

Best VRBO Ever

Jim and Laurie think of everything when they rent out their cabin. From the cleanliness, to stocking extra toothbrushes, in case you forgot yours, to the comfortable furniture and bed, to lots of towel, to a fully stocked kitchen, to providing little things like dish soap and extra tp. There's subtle lighting when you arrive back after dark, night lights inside so you don't trip and great outdoor furniture on the deck. The views can't be beat, with seeing the sunrise over thex Grand Teton to deer in the yard almost every evening. The hosts are super responsive and incredibly nice. We want to stay here again, anytime we come back to the area.

Great home base for trip to Grand Teton NP

We stayed 3 nights, as used this property as our home base for day trips to the Grand Teton NP. We found the property very clean and it was probably the best equipped rental we have ever stayed at. Spices, cookbooks, some condiments in fridge and many useful items in the pantry ( foil, storage bags, tea bags, hot cocoa, etc.) The property offered a beautiful view out the kitchen window, a bbq and washer and dryer. We could have easily stayed there longer. Thank you for such a pleasant stay. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and rested very well each night.

Peaceful

Great house with ownership pride. We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch with a view of the mountains. Great place for out door activities: hiking, biking, fishing, sight seeing. Jackson Hole is a short drive over the pass and it's beautiful. Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone are nearby. The owner's were very responsive to any questions we had about the area. Bromlin's is a wonderful grocery store - the kitchen is well equipped with nice pots and pans, and utensils. Our experience was truly a home away from home. We hope to return again but for a week. We loved this area.

Beautiful, comfortable place to relax after active days or to spend the day!

Laurie and Jim are wonderful hosts in every way. They've set up a truly comfortable place to vacation, they love adventure themselves and will give you plenty of ideas, and share their adventure of the day, if you're lucky enough to meet them in person! We enjoyed afternoons and evenings on the deck, using the grill, a really comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchen, in terms of dishes and pans and including many spices, a comfortable couch for reading or watching TV, and a washer and dryer! On the night we came home very late from spending the day in Yellowstone, they left the outside lights on for us! There were so many trails and other activities that we didn't have time to explore! We will return and look forward to making this place our "home" again.

This place is amazing in that it is so private, in a nice neighborhood that is still convenient to town and places to explore. Also an amazing restaurant at the airport. Very comfortable and homey inside and wonderful sitting out on the back deck. Got up one night just to see the millions of stars out.

About the host

Hosted by Laurie & Jim Sitkiewicz

Host profile image
My Husband and I are avid outdoor enthusiasts. I grew up in Colorado and began coming to the Teton Valley as a teenager and together we have been recreating in the Teton Valley for the past 20 years. We have stayed at many VRBO's and are excited to share our new purchase and dreams with others. We love to ski, mountain bike, hike, fly fish, fly small planes, and kayak.

Why they chose this property

This property was finally what we were looking for after many years! Tons of light, views of the Grand Teton, Grand Targhee Ski Area, and the Big Hole Mountain Range. Close to Ski Hill Road to take full advantage of the great Grand Targhee Powder yet you get the feeling that you are off the beaten path. The home has 2 completely separate living quarters and thus we would be able to try our hand at short term rentals. We prefer to stay in short term rentals when traveling and would like to offer what we feel will be your FAVORITE place to rent.

What makes this property unique

TOTALLY NEW HIGH QUALITY FURNISHINGS!
Close to town but off the beaten path.
A great place to enjoy the shoulder seasons, not quite summer, not quite winter--enjoy the biking on the park roads that are closed to vehicles. The ride from W. Yellowstone to Mammoth was spectacular spring (2015) featuring buffalo, migrating water fowl & birds of prey, and elk. The ride into the South Teton Park entrance was just as spectacular. Lastly, the spring mtn. bike ride above Slide Lake off the GrosVentre was breath taking--beautiful red rocks, full on Teton Views, and lots of wild life--this is definitely a ride to do during the fall with the foliage change!
