This 3 bed, 2 bath home is perfect for vacationing families or even healthcare workers wanting to be near the hospital. The original 1940's hardwood floors perfectly complement and balance the newly renovated farmhouse style kitchen and bath.

The space
We offer both memory foam and pillow top mattresses lined with luxury 1300 thread count sheets allowing you to ease into the most comfortable and relaxing sleep.

Awake the next morning refreshed with an extra boost of energy from the complimentary coffee and/or tea from the Keurig.

When traveling with your little ones be sure to let us know so that we can include items to make your stay more kid friendly such as an Uppababy bassinet, Pack n Play, kid friendly dining utensils, bottle warmers, and/or a 4moms MamaRoo swing.

If you are traveling with pets please also include that information in your booking request.

If you are enjoying a staycation and plan to spend time relaxing in your “home away from home” enjoy super fast AT&T Fiber internet speeds of 300 Mbps and a 75" smart TV with ApolloTV streaming service.

The entire home is yours to enjoy. The garage is not available for use. However the driveway is long enough to accommodate 3-4 cars on a shared driveway with neighbors.

HOUSE RULES

1. Absolutely NO PARTIES. NO SMOKING inside the house. Any evidence of partying and/or smoking inside the house will incur an automatic $350 fee.

2. Please notify host if there will be any pets at the house. Pet Fee: $80/dog per stay. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed per stay. No cats.

3. Locals (within 45 miles of 30033) must contact the host prior to booking with the purpose of their stay. They must also have a valid government ID uploaded to their VRBO profile and at least one positive review from another host.

4. This home is for a MAXIMUM of 9 guests. Only guests that are on the reservation are allowed in the house unless prior approval given by host. There is a $15 per night fee for additional guests above 4 guests.

5. Please list full names (first and last) of all guests checking in and notify host of any additional people that come to the house especially those that are not staying overnight.

6. VRBO terms of service require that guests leave the accommodations in the same way that they found it. There will be a minimum $350 fine for any damaged property identified at the completion of the stay.

7. The fireplace in the living room is cosmetic and non-functional. Do not use the fireplace.

8. The smart TV in the living room is logged into YouTubeTV. Any additional streaming services or apps are available for you to log-in to. Please do not purchase any additional movies or services. If there are any additional charges (movies etc) it will be back charged to you.

9. Please use the provided face wipes to remove makeup. DO NOT use the white face towels to remove makeup.

10. The entire house is available for your use with the exception of the garage. Please park in the driveway and do not enter the garage.

11. No mail and/or package delivery service is permitted to the home at any time, no exceptions. This includes but is not limited to USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, private courier, or any Amazon or eCommerce product or a service delivery of any kind.

Good location and comfortable beds. But the house seemed shabby (musty smell, chipped and peeling paint throughout, lamps coming apart, some uncovered outlets, faucet handle came off, doors not closing). Basic supplies were lacking (sugar, salt, plastic wrap or foil, any extra TP, Kleenex, no regular coffee pods). Bunk bed room had no table to set things on nor lamp. Overall, it was quite disappointing, compared to other short-term rentals in which we'd stayed. Definitely not a "5-star experience".

Family Weekend

The property was nice for our short weekend stay. We were out and about most of the weekend so primarily were just sleeping and getting ready there but it was a cute home. It is on a slightly noisy street and there's a narrow driveway but not hard to navigate. Overall, would stay there again.

Maximized space and attentive host

We enjoyed staying here for my daughter’s graduation from Emory. The way this home is laid out, feels spacious and very accommodating to a large group. The host kept in close communication and the property is super cute and ideally located. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

Fur family friendly!

Clean and pet friendly! It was so nice to be able to spend time with our family including our fur babies. The house is in a location that is close to shops, activities, and all the sights. We also appreciated the great communication with the property owner.

Never VRBO again

Worst place I have ever seen. Not at all as listed and reeked of chemicals. Run down and terrible location. Could not stay and had to pay for a hotel and no hope from the owner of reimbursing us. Shame on him and VRBO.

Easter visit

My wife and I moved away from ATL a year ago, and returned Easter weekend to see our kids and some old friends. The house was located near our old neighborhood, so it was very convenient for (and familiar to) us. We brought along our old dog, for a last visit with our kids. The house worked well for him as well, as he could walk around the backyard unleashed. I had difficulty getting the app to work at first (user error I'm sure), and reached out to the owner. He called just as the app starting working. I appreciated his quick help. Overall, we had a very nice time.

Quick Stay in ATL

This private home was large enough for two couples and a toddler. Great space to come back to at the end of the day. The furnishings were very comfortable and well portioned. Please take note that the en-suite bathroom has a compact sink that makes washing your face or brushing your teeth a bit challenging. Not at all a problem, but important to know. If cooking meals in the kitchen is on your agenda, be aware that there are limited utensils but enough to get by. Knives need sharpening and a few more bowls, pots and pans would be useful. Overall the stay was comfortable and in a great location (be aware it's on a highly trafficked street).

Not the best

Although the house was clean and comfortable, I had significant trouble connecting with the host. The driveway was narrow and difficult to maneuver on such a busy street. Despite the initial advertised cost, additional fees bumped the price to more than a local hotel. In addition, the host required some cleanup, which was irritating after the additional cleaning fees. I would not stay here again due to the lack of communication and overall cost. Much easier and cheaper to get a local hotel.

Very nice and communicative host, but house needs updating

The host was very easy to reach and responded fast, but there were many issues that should have been resolved before we arrived. (A blanket was missing, special county garbage bags were finished, an outdoor garbage can was missing etc.) The house is cleaned okay, but it needs a lot of updating. The white sheets had many stains, the kids bunkbed was extremely shaky (to the point that I only allowed the lightest child to go on the top bunk), and the full bed in the non master bedroom was coming apart at the headboard with staples exposed. The faucet in the main bathroom didn't turn off well (it had to be done a specific way- which the kids could not figure out), and there is ZERO drawers/dressers/shelves to put any folded clothes. There are only closets in each room with hangers. So it was very difficult to unpack neatly.

Dialectic Review

A dialectic is when two seemingly conflicting things are true at the same time. For example, “It's snowing and it is spring”. This would be my review of the Pet/Family Friendly Renovated Bungalow By Emory. 1. It is close to Emory, but it has a very narrow driveway and is on a very busy street that makes it challenging to even leave the driveway. 2. It is pet friendly, but the backyard doesn't have sufficient lighting after sunset and before sunrise, it isn't entirely enclosed with a fence, and the pine needles and combs on the ground make it challenging for small dogs to walk around and relieve themselves. 3. It is renovated, but it doesn't have a dish washer. 4. It has a couch in the living room, but it is not standing firmly. The same is true for the table in the dining room. 5. It has modern mobile app enabled front door access, but the instructions for using it are not made easily accessible to renters. My suggestion to future renters is to be very careful with this property.
