The property was gorgeous and very well cared for. Security was excellent. It is a wonderful place for adults and couples who can appreciate the quiet beauty and are looking for a unique place to attain it.
If you are looking for a unique, comfortable stay near Grand Junction and Palisade, this is it. Picturesque setting on a small vineyard and farm looking out on open fields and the Book Cliffs. Four bedrooms in a comfortable, clean, and cool house. Lots of property to walk for exercise or with your dog. Responsive and friendly hosts. Palisade is a cool little town with a few nice restaurants—we really enjoyed Fidel’s—and a farmer’s market in Saturdays. The house has everything you need.
Shari and Edwin are wonderful hosts, and the property is a perfect retreat for a group of people. Beautiful surroundings, fun activities, and delicious wine and charcuterie. We will definitely return for another getaway!
Our stay at this winery property was nothing short of incredible. The house itself was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We spent our days playing pickleball on the court, exploring the stunning grounds, and enjoying leisurely walks with a world-class view from every angle. The evenings were magical, with cozy fires, delicious meals made in the large kitchen, and stargazing from the lounge areas. We also had a blast pedal boating on the lake and soaking in the hot tub as the sun set.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we slept soundly each night. The overall ambiance of the property was peaceful and serene, making it the perfect escape from our busy lives. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway. Highly recommend!
This physical property is amazing in itself, making it worth every penny. Add to that the presence of sustainable living through animals and property innovation along with the most attentive hosts, this place is truly and oasis get away. We are especially grateful to the compassion these owners showed us given we have some special needs family members. Not only would I recommend, but my fiance and I hope to get married there!
This was an incredible property and we will be back! Edwin & Shari go above and beyond. The home is decorated beautifully and the outdoor space is unbelievable. Their winery was just as perfect as the residence. This has been the best VRBO we have ever experienced. Even our 18 & 20-year-old sons were impressed, and that is hard to do! Thank you Edwin & Shari!

They both share a servant's heart; for Shari and Edwin, joy comes from welcoming and entertaining new friends. "Sharing this magical place is a must. Watching people fill their souls with the beauty of nature and rejuvenate is an honor!" And you can learn a little Afrikaans from Edwin while sipping some incredible wine, and Shari can translate from Nebraska Country...
