Summer Vacation

The property is clean and comfortable, with most everything we needed for a week long stay. As is stated in another review, the host is very much present as she lives right behind the home, and keeps a watchful eye on her property.

Adorable cottage with a lot to offer

Adorable little cottage with wonderful views of the lake. Although we were unable to use some of the water amenities due to the time of year we were there, we were very impressed that they were an option. We spent most of our stay comfortably in the cottage. Jennifer was great and quick to respond to our questions. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend!

Quiet Relaxation

Home is as advertised. Cute, clean, with nice side yard and ample deck and dog friendly. Stocked with ample games, and very nice lake. We value our privacy, and the host seemed to be always around. Although we would not hesitate to rent again as it was perfect for our needs.

Thank you for your kind review! We're glad to hear that you found the property cute, clean, and well-stocked with games. We apologize if you felt that the host's presence impacted your privacy. We value the need for privacy, but it's worth mentioning that our host lives on the back lot separate from the cottage, that's why she may have seemed to be around often. However, we appreciate your honesty and we're thrilled to hear that the home was perfect for your needs. We would be more than happy to welcome you back again in the future!

Just right!

As advertised, this place had everything we needed for our extended stay. The kayaks and paddle boat made it even more enjoyable. Very clean and yard was taken care of weekly. Mentioned the toaster needed replacing and Jennifer delivered a new 4 slicer within 2 days! Highly recommend. J&J

Beautiful lake front property

This property was beautiful and in nice condition. There were many fun activities to do as a family. Our hostess seemed prepared to meet all of our needs and was nearby to help. Barbequing, kayaking, fishing, watching hockey on the big screen, and playing in the yard were all things the kids loved. The driveway was a narrow but that's typical for lake front houses. It was a great time!

Amazing views!!

Panoramic views of the lake, extremely well stocked kitchenware/cookware, and spotlessly clean! Super comfortable beds!! The yard of the property is large with tons of room for yard games and a nice bonfire pit for cooking/roasting marshmallows over an open fire. Great place to unwind on the 2 levels of deck watching the wildlife and boats drift quietly by. Jennifer is an outstanding host. Best VRBO we have ever rented!! Thank you Jennifer!! We would love to come back again soon!!

Child-friendly relaxing stay

We had a beautiful time at the cottage! Our kids loved the kayaks. The property is right on the lake with a small beach and there are even gates so little ones can't get off the deck. It's a nice big deck where you can eat and look at the lake. Inside is a big room with a couch that opens up to a double bed. The kitchen is fully stocked. There are tons of towels and really nice big beach towels too. The kids room has space for 4-5 kids. There is one nice bathroom with a bathtub. Anderson zoo is nearby and it's awesome! We also enjoyed going to the dunes. It was about a two and half hour drive. This is a great location and we enjoyed every minute of our stay!
