Relax in our luxurious, 6-person hot tub while overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Forest.

We provide a propane grill and an assortment of outdoor seating for your family to enjoy a meal outdoors. Turn on the edison lights to enhance your experience! You will be surrounded by nature, making this the ideal spot to have dinner or drink a warm cup of coffee.

𝐊𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐒, 𝐏𝐀𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐓, & 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐊
Our waterfront home is nestled on the tranquil waters of Lake Forest and boasts stunning panoramic views of natural lily pads and vegetation that encircle the entire lake. Kayaks and paddle boats will be stored for Winter starting November 1 and will return in the Spring/Summer.

Please bear in mind that there is no public beach or boat launch, and as such we recommend bringing water shoes to navigate the natural mud and lily pads at the water's edge. If you plan to swim, we suggest using a paddle boat or kayak to access deeper waters for a refreshing dip. Lake Forest also offers great fishing!

Our fully furnished kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including baking sheets, silverware, pots and pans, cutting boards, coffee cups, and wine glasses for each person in your family. We also provide a coffee pot & tea kettle during your reservation.

We have hard, well water which can sometimes have a slight taste, so we recommend bringing bottled water for your convenience. Start each day off right by savoring a warm cup of coffee and enjoying the sunrise over Lake Forest.

Enjoy a newly renovated, modern bathroom stocked with bath, beach, and makeup towels. We also provide Q-tips, cotton balls, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

A fun cozy cottage

My family and I wanted to relax. This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The deck was perfect to read on and enjoy the lake views. Quiet short getaway

Cute cottage that has all the comforts of home. Can’t say much about the lake as we didn’t go in it but it was serene. Owners were great and understanding as we had a death in the family the night before our stay. We walked in to find a bottle of wine and two wine glasses which was so nice after all our stress and grief and the long drive. Definitely would stay again.

I came here with two of my sisters and we had a great time! The house was adorable, very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the firepit and took advantage of the hot tub each night. To top it all of, the hosts were incredible! They were very responsive, kind and you could tell they pay attention to even the smallest details. We have gone to many different vrbo rentals and these hosts were by far the very best! If you're looking for a cute and relaxing place to stay, this is it! Great little house with a fantastic view

We stayed at this little house for two nights and we really enjoyed our time here. The interior of the house was immaculate and had a lot of really thoughtful amenities like dog towels, make up washcloths, coffee and filters provided. We adored the view from the deck and had a lot of fun on the kayaks and the paddleboats. We paddled out to the middle of the lake and had fun swimming and fishing. And we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evening and we then we had s'mores by the fire. The owners were communicative and very kind. There is a really nice farm store a few miles away that had delicious cheese and baked goods too! It was called Farm Country Cheese. Thanks for hosting us!

Perfect quiet retreat!

My sister and I stayed in this sweet cottage after a whirlwind trip to see family in Michigan. It was a perfect, quiet getaway. The cottage is cozy and stylish. The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and the lake-side fire pit was perfect for enjoying the night sounds and starry sky. We weren't totally prepared for the chilly nights, but the cottage was was warm and cozy. The hosts not only provided great info during the time up to the visit, but also left great info about the area. Don't overlook the pizza at the 5 Corner Store! We also found a great market in Lakeview, Griffith Market, that made us a charcuterie lunch box and bottle of wine that elevated our fireside snacking. The host obviously put some good thought into making sure visitors have what you need and can relax and enjoy your time there. We loved our stay and hope to stay again in the future!

Great place to recharge!

We were looking for a place off the beaten path to get away from the Florida heat. This place checked all the boxes! Such a cute and comfortable place to relax and recharge! Morning coffee on the deck, afternoons on the peddle boat, and evenings in the hot tub. It. Was. Perfect! The property was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The washer & dryer allowed us to return from vacation without a pile of laundry to do! Nearby towns allow access to great local restaurants, a Planet Fitness, and shopping. Our hosts left a great guidebook and some dry firewood for the firepit. It was apparent they have a passion for hospitality! Speaking of our hosts, they were EXCELLENT. Very responsive and very communicative. They made sure we had what we needed for an easy check in and facilitated an open line of communication in case we needed something, which we never did. No doubt we would stay here again!
