Reviewer Comments:
The cabin is in a very nice location however it's impossible to find. We got lost because the sign to the cabin had been knocked down and placed further up the driveway so we couldn't see it. Upon opening the front door we got a stale smell, as well as the smell of cat urine in the master bedroom closet. The gutters had never been cleaned out causing them to overflow onto the stairs making them slimy and slick. The AC didn't work so duringthe day temp in house got up to 80, the refrigerator drawer was geld together by duct tape, both back decks were filthy and obvious no one blew or swept the debris off. We had to replace all outside bulbs but were lucky some were available. The backyard/side yard was so muddy it made it difficult to walk around plus there were 2 pieces of decking board on the ground with nails sticking up which could be a major hazard. Downstairs ceiling, the tape on the sheet rock is falling down and downstairs also smells of pet urine. Pots and pans that were Teflon were so scratched that they were nonfunctional. Downstairs the pull switch didn't work for the light so to keep the fan on the light had to stay on or you just dealt with it being too hot and turned it off.
My husband and I stayed at this home during our Blue Ridge Mountain trip. The home was very clean, but was in need of a few small maintenance items.(light bulbs, smoke alarm battery). The location is very quiet and peaceful, although access was difficult for us in our van (be aware). Beds were comfy. I can see if the home would be great for a group. Traveled with pups and the side yard was all pine needles. We chose to walk our dogs along the road side where there was a little bit of grass. It is technically fenced, but not for small dogs. If you had a larger dog, it would be great! Location is super if you want to participate in Maggie ‘s many activities! Gas grill was in great shape. Enjoyed our stay immensely.
We really enjoyed our stay here over the the Fourth of July as the mountains are so much cooler than the coast this time of year. Beautiful balcony to sit with coffee and listen to the rain on the trees and the birds. It’s like the mountain and trees engulf the house and you can only catch glimpses of the sky. A great place to disconnect from the busy-ness of life and reconnect with family. Lots of room for the family to have their own space to relax or get together for game night. Fun things to do in town: mining for gems, antique shops, waterfalls, hiking, Cherokee reservation, and more. Easy check in and check out.
Full disclosure, this house is located a fair way up the mountain with a one lane hairpin winding road (steep incline) that still gives me heart palpitations thinking about it, but once you get up there it’s worth it. Neighbors are really friendly and were happy to share bear sighting stories right before nightfall with us city slickers. ;-)
Highly recommend. Would go again.
The trundle bed in one bedroom quite uncomfortable and would be worth replacing , the steep drive was more than we expected however we managed

We were less than an hour away from Maggie Valley when we received a call from a different rental agency stating that we were not going to be able to stay in a cabin that we had reserved as an issue had come up with the property. I spent the next hour trying not to panic while finding a place for our group of 10 to stay. Mrs. Sandy was so helpful & kind as she helped us find a cabin at our price point that met our needs and wants. This cabin was beautiful. Plenty of space for my family and our two dogs. It was incredibly clean & included everything we needed. The views were spectacular. The driveway could be a little tricky for my car since it does sit lower, but we made it work!! We will never stay with any other rental agency!

Loved this house! It was in a very private location; ideal for taking nice long walks with our pups. The view was amazing & we really enjoyed our stay.
The Dreams Do Come True house was perfect for our family trip. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and ample room for us to be together as a group. Loved the remote location and view of the mountains. The indoor and outdoor fireplace was a huge hit and the bear decor was adorable. Will definitely visit again.

Great weekend getaway!
The cabin was nice and very spacious and the location was great. The gravel drive was a little tight to get a truck turned around, but overall the property was great! Very nice relaxing stay with our family of six!
We enjoyed our stay in Maggie Valley. Going up the hill to the cabin was very steep and curved. The cabin could have been a little cleaner and we couldn’t get the outside lights to work.
It was a good location and we enjoyed our stay but,for families that cook alot, the kitchen was not sufficiently equipped...simple things such as measuring spoons, liquid measuring cup, large frying pan. The queen mattress needs replacing and the bed supports checked. The hall bathtub has trouble draining and the toilet runs.
We stayed for three nights over spring break. The house was very secluded at the back of the neighborhood and the amenities were great.
The only thing we would have changed was a TV on the main level living area, other than that it was great.
