Enjoy overlooking the stunning views of the Smoky Mountain National Park from 3,800 foot elevation from any of the 3 deck levels surrounded by nature with the sound of the nearby stream. This fully-equipped home features three bedrooms, three and half baths and a loft with a sleeper sofa. The main floor includes, fully equipped kitchen with small eat-in table area, dining room and living room with plush furniture, flat screen TV and fireplace. The large master bedroom includes a king bed, a private bathroom with jacuzzi tub, shower and double sinks. The second floor loft includes a sitting area with pull out sofa, a full bathroom with shower tub and a second bedroom with queen bed that has its own private balcony. A beautiful downstairs area includes a third bedroom with two twin beds, a full bath with a shower tub, and a game room that has something for every guest including a 55" Smart TV, billiard table and foosball table. Enjoy watching movies or playing board games in the sitting area or playing card games on the game table next to the fire. Wireless High Speed Internet is accessible and reliable throughout the entire cabin!

The cabin has a dishwasher, central heat & air, washer & dryer, fireplaces (gas logs), microwave, TV programming and double garage. It is fully equipped, including clean sheets and towels.

This rental is furnished with a “Starter Package”, which contains one of each: paper towels, toilet paper, trash liners, bar soap, laundry detergent, dish liquid and dishwasher powder. For a short stay, these items may be enough, however, for a longer stay you will need to furnish your own supplies.

CLEAN HEALTHY AIR. This cabin is equipped with a radon gas emitter, so the radon gas never gets trapped in the cabin (which is a very common issue with mountain houses). Please contact us for more details.

Nice Large Cabin

This is a large cabin with everything you need to have an enjoyable time. Main floor gas fireplace was wonderful and the views were amazing. The kids loved the bottom floor game room with pool table. There was plenty of room for the four of us. The cabin has an upper level that we didn't utilize as the kids slept in the bottom floor...my wife and I joked about how the kids had their own apartment. The road to the cabin is well paved with a steep incline. It snowed while we're we there and the road did ice over. The snow/ice removal company took a couple of days to clear the road enough for us to drive down to the bottom of the mountain. Location of the cabin is good...Tube World, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and Waynesville we're all short drives.

Nice house but basic maintenance and communication issues

The house is nice, spacious and has big mountain views. It was clean upon arrival. Unfortunately, we had multiple issues with basic maintenance and communication. The lower level fireplace (by kids bedroom) did not work. The toaster did not work. The jacuzzi tub did not work. The master sink was broken (falling in and loose). We called after-hours support and were told the fireplace was a continuing issue and they would get someone out to look at it. Nobody ever came or called back. We called the main management company many times, left two voicemails, and nobody ever called us back during our entire week long stay. The kitchen is very basic level. At this level of property, I would expect a bit more. For instance, hot pads/oven mitts were very dirty. Zero coffee pods provided, so plan ahead for all supplies.

wedding weekend at Sky cabin

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped.It was very beautiful and convenient for us. We were able to cook meals which was great during the pandemic. The views was gorgeous. I did not receive my check in information until we were traveling and sent a message, fortunately we had family nearby to get our keys. The heat in the main cabin was fine yet the basement was cold at night and the downstairs fireplace was not working. we also didnt know that we were supposed to bring blankets and dish detergenent. we were fortunate to be able to borrow some. Overall we had agreat experience in the beautiful home.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry for any of the miscommunication regarding the check in. Sky Cabin is available for check-in anytime of day. The management office located at the base of the mountain (5 mins from the cabin) is open from 8am to 5pm. If you miss them, they have a non-contact way of leaving a key for you for an evening or night pickup. We always strive for a quick and easy check-in experience. Thank you for letting us know about the basement stove. We will send for a repair immediately. In the meantime a space heater is provided and additional blankets. Lastly, if a guest at Sky Cabin ever needs anything or has an issue at the Cabin, you are provided a phone number for the management company and the owners of the Cabin. A redundant measure to ensure that any issue that arises is addressed immediately. We hope to see you again at Sky Cabin. Happy holidays!

Nice place!

We have stayed many times in Maggie Valley through the years. We usually rent a cabin for our time there. On this occasion we needed accommodations for 3 couples. This cabin was perfect in that each couple had their own floor with bedroom, bath room and living area. The cabin was well stocked for cooking and the view was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful beauty *****

Everything was perfect! Clean and ready for us. Easy to reserve, check in and check out. Highlights: game room basement perfect for kids, games and puzzles for the family, comfortable beds, warmth of the home, easy access to the cabin and flat driveway. Skiing and tubing right down the road. Some places only seasonal like museums and shops. We will come again, there was so much to do yet plenty of time to rest and enjoy the cabin.

Delightful Get Away

Beautiful location with a breathtaking view

This home was very comfortable and beautiful and we enjoyed spending a family weekend in celebration of my husband’s birthday. We all agreed that we would love to stay at this property again. Spring break at Sky Cabin

What a wonderful week! This was our first time at Sky Cabin & we were not disappointed. The owners were so helpful and super responsive with any questions. The cabin was spotless upon check-in. Beds were all very comfortable. Having the bbq grill on the main patio was fantastic! Having coffee out on the patio was so peaceful & relaxing. The foosball and pool tables were fantastic and provided hours of enjoyment for our whole family! We were able to take advantage of the fireplaces thanks to the easy instructions. Having the playground nearby was wonderful too! We are so lucky to have found this terrific cabin and cannot wait to return!!

Ideal Log Cabin Getaway Spot

We loved staying at Sky Cabin during our spring break! The cabin was incredibly clean with more things that we could possibly do during our nearly week-long stay. Two large decks overlook the valley, and a smaller deck off the upstairs bedroom was perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Though we had great weather, I can see where the game room would be perfect for rainy days with a pool table, foosball, TV and enough board games to get you through a week. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. This was the perfect home base for our family of four, but we could have added more people to our group very comfortably.

My family had a wonderful time at Sky Cabin. Great views with plenty of room and full kitchen to cook and prepare food. I love to cook even on vacation so this place had everything. The bottom floor with the game kept the kids entertained and gave them their own space. Two spacious porches with seating! My dad loved sitting out on the main level porch and drink coffee. The rental office were very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Would definitely stay again at Sky Cabin!

Absolutely Beautiful

From the moment we walked in it was like sensory overload. The views, the cleanliness, the design of the ceiling beams. The house met and exceeded our expectations.The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. The views were spectacular day and night. Quiet with the sound of a stream in the distance. Hard to ask for more. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back.
