Great stay

This property was great. There was plenty of room for our family and it had everything we needed. The location was perfect. It was close to the beautiful beach and restaurants and was ideal for visiting the D-day beaches.

Fantastic time in Grandcamp Maisy!

The house is a fantastic location a block from the Port. Beautiful large private backyard. Very roomy interior with large kitchen and family room. It has a protected parking in a private fenced area and a garage. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again next time I’m in Normandy!

Rapport qualité/prix decevant

Procédure d’arrivée autonome sans précisions très difficile. 3 salles de bain mais seulement une fonctionnelle (pression et eau chaude). Lave vaisselle bouché, vaisselle sale et insuffisante pour 12 personnes (pas de cocotte minute, peu de grands plats, pas de bols et mugs pour 12). 2 chambres ne comportent pas d’ouverture sur l’extérieur (pas de possibilité d’aérer). Un seul étendoir pour 12 un peu juste pour lessives et plage.Nous n’avons pas été prévenus du marché et de la brocante ce qui nous a empêchés de sortir 2 jours. Maison idéalement placée mais prestations pas à la hauteur.

Maison spacieuse, fonctionnelle et très bien située

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famillle avec 3 adultes, 7 ados et 1 enfant. La maison était propre et spacieuse. Les lits confortabls, Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin dans la cuisine.. 2 grandes salles de bains, ce qui était agréable avec autant d'ados! Maison très bien située, nous avons pu faire le tour des différents sites du débarquement sans devoir rouler de trop. Merci à Annabelle et son mari pour leur accueil et pour les croissants, le pain, la confiture et le cidre :-) Nous pouvions les joindre à tout moment par Whatsapp..

Je suis bien d'accord avec vous ! Mais c'est malheureusement indépendant de notre volonté, la caution est encaissée par Abritel, seul le prix du séjour nous est versé. Nous ne sommes pas en accord avec cette pratique, mais impossible de faire autrement via Abritel

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. John nous attendait et nous a bien acueilli avec plein de renseignements. Le gîte est super avec un salon confortable pour nous 8 et la cuisine est aussi un bel espace de vie. Le jardin est grand et parfait aussi pour un grand groupe. Les lits étaient tous très confortable. Tout était très bien. La localisation est parfaite dans le centre près de la mer. Je le recommande vivement. Merci John

grand camp, grand gite

fantastic gite in a perfect setting ideally placed for exploring all the d-day beaches and fortifications. the gite had very extremely comfortable beds and the kitchen was equipped with every gadget we required for preparing meals including a barbeque in the large garden, within 5 minutes we had cafes ,bars and several shops and a Carrafour 10 minutes walk away, the beach was a 2 minute walk away, could not find fault with anything we really enjoyed ourselves and if we go back to Normandy we will certainly try to book this accomodation again . Merci John you made our holiday perfect many thanks, James

Echt een super huis

Mooi groot appartement (het ligt op de eerste verdieping) buiten via een trap achter te bereiken. Er is een garage waar je auto in kwijt kunt en een parkeerplaats buiten. Grote keuken, dito woonkamer, keuken is compleet met grote koelkast en diepvries, er ligt overal laminaat ook in de badkamers, badkamers zijn netjes. Huis is wel erg gehorig vooral boven. Van beneden (het postkantoor geen last) Er zit een grote tuin bij waar je kunt barbequen, hele dag zon. Perfecte locatie als je alles over de tweede wereldoorlog wilt bezoeken. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Bakker in de buurt, supermarkt, en gezellige restaurantjes. Kortom een prima plek om te verblijven vooral als je geinteresseerd bent in de tweede wereldoorlog, overal dichtbij.
