Nice place. Upper loft suitable for kids who want to climb a ladder to get to it. TV remote batteries had to be replaced. No garbage bags that fit the kitchen can. Owner very helpful but contact limited to VRBO messaging. Very nice pool. Parking a little tight. Wouldnot hesitate to stay there again.
Everything about our stay here was perfect. All of the necessary information was timely provided ahead of check-in and getting into the apartment could not have been easier. We had been in Honolulu for business for a couple of days and this location was such a welcome reprieve to the earlier crowds. The apartment was incredibly comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed to prepare a breakfast and coffee in the morning. We absolutely loved sitting at the table on the landing and watching the waves crash against the seawall. Also had an amazing early morning walk along the water watching the sunrise. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but the space looked beautiful and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again!
Property is in excellent shape and has an amazing pool. The landlord was very responsiveThis unit IS NOT ocean front like the add states- It faces the mountains and is in the back of the house. . It is close to the Ocean however and has one deck with an ocean view. The unit is upstairs and there are 12-15 stairs you have to lug your suitcase up. Not a huge deal- but requires some effort. The neighborhood is nice. The only downside is you have to drive 2 miles to Kailua Beach park and the parking was very tight due to road construction around park. This will probably improve once construction is done.Overall a very nice place to stay
Beautiful property with a beautiful pool and great location! Super quiet residential neighborhood and awesome owner!
When you leave your unit a super short walk along the house opens to the Pacific; stunning! There’s a longer walk when you turn right along the coast.
Loved everything about it 😁
This place had everything we needed. It was clean, the shower worked great and the AC worked even better. It’s tucked away in the edge of Kailua, in a nice & quiet neighborhood. We found it fairly easy to get from our place to all the attractions we wanted to see in Kailua and Lanikai.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful property. We stayed in the ocean-side unit and our son and daughter-in-law stayed in the pool-view unit. It was perfect for our family. The lap pool was refreshing and lovely. The host was fabulous to communicate with and extremely helpful. We would absolutely stay again!
Had been attending a conference in Waikiki/Honolulu and needed a place to escape the crowds. This was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was as described and we appreciated the cleanliness of the unit and friendliness of the owners. We would definitely book again.
we really enjoyed our time here. it was comfortably and luxurious. the bathroom is top notch. other notable things: the shore just outside is rocky (not suitable for swimming) and we didn’t see much tide pooling besides a ton of crabs scurrying away. the pool is great, but half looks into the owners’ living room so we stuck to the other half. doing laundry requires coordination with the owner. there are two decks: a sitting area next to the entrance, the other overlooks the pool and has the mountain view, but is next to the external AC unit. the house is about a mile away from any restaurant or activity.
Clean and great location. Pool was beautiful, but with owner living on site and cameras everywhere around the pool it did not feel all that private. Place was mostly quite. The beach was great to walk down and had stunning ocean views. The town was cute with really good food and shopping. The area was easy to travel and it was our first time to Hawaii. Overall I recommend this property.
We loved our time at this location. WE highly recommend it, but we fear it will book out and we won't be able to stay again because we will rebook it ASAP!!! Thank you!

More than we expected. Modern and clean. Unbelievable sunrises on the beach. Perfect for 2. Definitely coming back.
Was a nice stay with everything needed. Not a swimming beach due to lava rock but pretty to watch waves. Close to Kailua town and everything you need. I would return here. You must be able to carry suitcase up one flight of stairs.
Beautiful property and location. Was wonderful to spend some time away from all the other tourists. Property was perfect for just the two of us. Quiet, clean location close to grocery store, shops, excellent coffee, and restaurants. Would recommend staying here. Owner lives below and was very kind and accommodating! Thanks for the great stay, we had a lovely visit 🤗
This was a beautiful home and owner was very nice we are actually from Kailua and have a lot of Ohana here but we just wanted to stay in a rental for once and it was an Awsome experience! Mahalo!

Convenient and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay. The owners were very welcoming and responded quickly when we had questions. We stayed in the studio on the landward side. We still had the sound of the waves and a view from the chairs and table outside our fronr door. The location is great. It is in easy striking distance of just about anything.
Owner sent us great instructions on how to arrive at property. Upon arrival we had our own door code (no key to worry about) the room was above the owners living quarters. They were quiet and to themselves. Room was very clean, nicely arranged and very welcoming. The only thing that wasn't accurate was we were on the inside portion of the Rental. The ocean view was obstructed by the house. However about 25 steps would take you to the ocean for the beautiful sunrises.

What a nice place!
My boyfriend and I stayed here last minute--we had made no reservations ahead of our arrival date. Luckily we found this amazing rental in Kailua with spectacular location. The house is right in front of the ocean and although we stayed in the mountain view room, it had a really nice view of the ocean from one of the balconies. The other one faced the mountains/neighborhood and overlooked a fabulous pool with waterfalls. We had a blast using the pool and bbq at night--so beautiful under the stars.
We'd love to come back someday.
Our stay was so lovely! The house was exactly as described, check in and check out was easy, and our hostess was wonderful. We were provided everything we could have wanted- beach and bath towels, a beach umbrella, kitchen appliances and dishes, etc. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and my daughter said the bed she slept in up in the loft was also comfortable. We loved the pool and close ocean access, and the nearby cove ended up being my daughter's favorite place we went swimming. I read in the previous reviews that some people had problems figuring out how the air conditioning worked, but it was very self-explanatory- there are two units, and with both on it actually got so cold that I would end up turning one off after it cooled off. The Kailua area is quiet and close to beautiful beaches, a botanical garden, and lots of attractions. If we come back to O'ahu, I would definitely stay in this unit again!

Nice loft, nice hosts
This loft is close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing on the nearby rocks. The hosts are pleasant and quick-thinking for solving problems. The property was extremely clean.
The unit was very hot. It didn’t really have any ventilation - most of the windows don’t open - so it could feel stifling. I tried to leave the AC’s fan running (without the chiller running) just to keep air moving, but I think the hosts turned it off. Anyway, it does have an AC, so you can cool off nicely at night, but that negates the whole “hear the waves crashing on the rocks” thing.
If the air could move through there, four stars. Absent that, this is a perfectly adequate rental for a stay in the Kailua area.

Wow!
The ocean crashing on the lava shelf just in front of the house is nothing short of spectacular, any time of day. We stayed in the mountain view suite, but you can still see the ocean from the balconies. The pool water is very pleasant, soft, and refreshing and you can sit under the waterfalls. The bed is firm, but comfortable, the pillows are supportive. My teenage son loved the loft and spent almost his whole time up there. Very pleasant crossbreeze and the air conditioner helped to cool down the room after the place had been locked up. But after that, we didn't need it. The walk-in closet doubles as a dressing room. The place is very light, clean, and airy. If you need it dark to be able to sleep in, bring a mask. A boogie board, snorkel and fins are provided as well as towels, beach chairs and an umbrella. The owners are very helpful and allow you to use their washer/dryer in the garage, which is great. We'll be staying there again for sure.
