Million Dollar View - Stanley View Cottage - Relax and Enjoy

Stanley View Cottage is a fully equipped newly renovated executive style cottage situated on 5 acres of prime cottage country in Stanley Bridge (319 Douglas Road). We are located 5 minutes(drive)from Cavendish , 20 minutes from Summerside and 40 minutes from Charlottetown- including the Charlottetown Airport.

Our property provides access to 800 feet of shoreline on the beautiful and popular Stanley river. Sit back and relax on the deck and enjoy the wide open view of the river or walk down to the dock and jump in for a swim. (life jackets provided). Kayaks and a canoe are available to use (shared between 2 rental properties).

We provide the perfect place for your fun filled family vacation or a quiet retreat. There are 3 spacious bedrooms(with amazing window views) and 2 full baths, open concept kitchen/dining room/ living room and a laundry room at the back entry. The double car garage has been popular for barbequing and for those who like to cook their own seafood there is a mussel pot/seafood cooker in the garage.

We provide indoor and outdoor games to keep you entertained. We have rented this cottage for the past 20 years and have had great response from renters. Many have fallen in love with the property and now have their own cottages in the area.

Amazing first time experience!

Family of 7 stayed for a week! The perfect spot close enough to everything we needed! The ramp was perfect for our mobility needs! The view is stunning and Bernadette was very quick to respond to my messages!We would definitely stay here again! The hill to the water is quite the climb!

What a view!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. We had absolutely everything we needed, beautiful view included. Beautiful Stanley River View on PEI

The cottage was just perfect, a good size for our family of 6, with excellent amenities and a spectacular view. It really is the nicest PEI place Iā€™ve stayed in, and Iā€™ve stayed in many good ones over the years. The location was great, close to our favorite activities in Darnley, Summerside, Cavendish, North Rustico and Charlottetown. A double rainbow was an enchanting end to our week. Amazing View

The house and view was exactly what we were looking for, for our family of four. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed and more. The view was beautiful! Relaxing Get-Away

What a wonderful place to stay! This property has an amazing view and was all that we wished it to be. Centrally located in the northern part of the island, we had easy access to lobster suppers, shellfish farms, ceilidhs and much more. The home was filled with all of the items we needed for our visit and our hosts were very welcoming. They went above and beyond! We hope to be able to get back some day soon and stay here again.

Wonderful cottage experience

Everything about this cottage rental exceeded our expectations. The cottage is beautifully situated with a stunning view of the Stanley River. The cottage itself is very clean, comfortable and well outfitted with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing vacation. The owners were very responsive to communications and provided us with a number of necessities as well as a generous welcoming gift of treats. We found the cottage to be very roomy for two couples. Truly, the photographs of the cottage and view can not do it justice. We also found the location of the property very convenient for touring the whole of Prince Edward Island. We would not hesitate to book this cottage again or to recommend it to family and friends.

Quiet, relaxing and beautiful view! We truly appreciated the cleanliness, the well stocked kitchen, and furnished bedrooms. Every morning was spent sipping a coffee on the covered deck, enjoying the warm sun, and all the while watching the local Eagle searching for his breakfast šŸ˜œ The evenings incuded a little glass of wine, a fire, and friendly ping pong game... The days were spent relaxing, reading on the deck, or going for day adventures. The cottage is well situated and close too many outings, beaches, bike trails. We have traveled to the Island many times, and stayed in Stanley Bridge more than once, at various cottages. We would consider this one amongst our favorites!!!

FABULOUS!

We loved loved, loved, loved our stay! I want to start with the only thing that was slightly misrepresented. The photos do not do justice to this home. We were prepared for a bit of a dated property and that could not be further from the truth. It is so beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked with all you would need. Plenty of pots and pans, a toaster, coffee maker, and basic spices. Bernadette was amazing to work with and kept in great contact before and during our stay. The location is excellent. Convenient to everything but just far enough off the beaten path to be peacefully quiet. The bedrooms are spacious and yet cozy. The property is very well maintained and the views are lovely. Walking trails in the woods by the house as well as a red dirt road to take a longer walk. Bernadette left a great notebook with very clear instructions for recycling as well as recommendation for places to go and places to eat or shop. The only real negative is that we didnā€™t book it for two weeks! Next time we will stay longer. Thank you Bernadette and family for an incredible stay. For anyone looking at this cottage, you will NOT regret it!

Awesome Vacation Property and Location

This is a first class property with all the amenities one could hope for. The owners were very friendly and helpful in every way. Everything else being equal,we would look forward to returning next year. The views from the deck were outstanding and our young granddaughter s thoroughly enjoyed their stay especially the swings, swimming in the river and the camp fires with marshmallows in the evening. Iā€™ve already recommended this wonderful cottage to several friends. ā€œIf youā€™re ever in PEI, I have the best place to stay.ā€ We had a wonderful week stay and I just canā€™t say enough about how great this cottage was. We had a week of lovely beach weather but had we not, we would have been happy as clams to just relax here and enjoy the view. Cottage was wonderful - to quote my 11 year old girls when they first saw it: ā€œour new home is so cute! We donā€™t want to leaveā€. We flew kites, canoed, cooked lobster, watched the Eagles and Blue Jays. Cottage was a short drive to Charlottetown and even shorter drive to Cavendish and Anne of Green Gables. Bernadette was a wonderful host and very communicative. We will be back!
