Welcome to NATURE WALK Lake House at beautiful Sunset Ridge on Barren River Lake. This unique home offers two separate living quarters separated by a common covered breezeway. Each suite has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for a total of 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, offering social distancing at its very best. NATURE WALK is PERFECT for large groups or two families and has the most beautiful sunsets on Barren River Lake (seasonal). The two living quarters share a common screened breezeway and deck. INCREDIBLE lake front home with new steps leading straight down to the lake. An aluminum DOCK on deep water is perfect for fishing, swimming or kayaking. This property has a private tennis court with half court basketball goal, pickleball, fire pit, pool table, and a shed full of outdoor games.

Nature Walk is just over a mile from Bailey’s Point Campground, Boat Ramp and Picnic area with a working dairy farm right across the street. Barren River State Park/Lodge is within 10 miles. There are several marinas nearby for boat rentals and all your fishing needs: Barren River State Marina, Narrows Marina, and Walnut Creek Marina. Day trips from this location include: Bowling Green, Beech Bend Amusement Park, Nashville TN, National Corvette Museum, Kentucky Down Under, Mammoth Cave National Park, Western Kentucky University, The MINT Gaming Hall in BG and Franklin, KY.

Van, so sorry for your experience. This is extremely unusual. There is normally no smell from the farm. They do spray their crop once a year which may be what happened. I’ve never known it to last very long regardless. It was a pleasure having you. Take care. Cindy.

Best Lake House on Barren River Lake

This is the third year in a row my family has stayed in the Nature Walk. The size, location, set up, and well stocked kitchen, make it perfect for our group. Checkin is always easy and the amenities as described in the listing. We’ll be back next summer!

Beautiful property

We used this house for a family trip and it was ideal! The split design allowed us to spend time together but also have private space for sleeping kids. The enclosed patio and deck where awesome and we loved the fire pit. We highly recommend this house!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay, the accommodations went beyond my expectations, this is by far the best stay I have ever had. The owners Cindy and Jerry Avery are truly the best. Fabulous Lake House

Perfect lakefront property for a large group. The location is perfect, both kitchens are well stocked, beds are comfortable, the deck, screened porch and fire pit are great areas to hang out. This was the second year we booked this house and plan to return next year.

Love Lake Life
