Great place! Lots of room for 10 people. Being right on the lake is awesome! My grandkids and kids had a blast swimming and fishing every day. Close to restaurants.
A freshly remodeled, well designed cabin, with a prime location and a fabulous host made for a fantastic vacation for our family of seven. Brock was available when we needed something, but gave us privacy when we didn’t. The kids had a great time in the lake while the parents enjoyed chilling on deck. I highly recommend this cabin.
Our family of 10 stayed and had a great time. We had plenty of room inside and outside. We appreciated the location, being able to walk to 2 restaurants, the beach with kayaks and paddle board, the dock, washer/dryer, and firewood delivery. Brock was a great host and I would highly recommend ! Thank you !
Cabin is at the water's edge of Ottertail Lake and within walking distance to two excellent restaurant choices: Zorbaz and Beach Bums. Beach area is awesome for swimming and hanging out. We appreciated the ability to pay for firewood to be delivered on-site with a fair cost. We also appreciated the use of the kayaks and the paddle board.
The front yard is small and not much parking, however, we made it work with our two boat trailers and vehicles with street parking.
Brock was an awesome host! He provided life jackets upon request for our family. He communicated well about storms that were coming into the area & offered help to secure our pontoon. The space is large & completely updated. There were only 2 minor problems with the stay, and I mean so minor I didn’t even mention them to Brock, but want to include them for other guests to know. There is sleeping space, etc. for 10 people, but not a place to put clothes for a week for 10 people. There are enough dishes, living room space, etc. The water is hard water, and doesn’t taste great, but we expected this as we have traveled to northern MN before. Just be prepared with bottled water & know you’re going to feel a little slimy after your showers. Overall, I recommend this place & would stay here again! Thank you Brock!
Beautiful house in a great location. House was immaculate with all the amenities you need. Brock was a great host and extremely responsive. I highly recommend and if we get back to the area will definitely re-book.
