Welcome to Bikini Bottom. This cottage has four bedrooms with four bathrooms and is located on East Beach, one of Saint Simons most sought after vacation home neighborhoods. The cottage was built in 1938 and is 2,742 heated sq ft. On the main living level there are two bedrooms, one with two twins and a queen, the other bedroom has a king. Also located on the main level are two large living areas, screened porch and a roomy, fully stocked kitchen with eating bar and large dining room table. The stairs off the kitchen lead to a large master suite, complete with king bed and walk in shower. Back down the stairs and outside by the pool you will find another stairway that leads to the pool house. Once you have reached the top of the stairs, there is a nice screened in porch with seating. This is a perfect spot to enjoy that morning cup of coffee, watch the kids swim or to catch up on that book you have been wanting to read. Once inside there is a queen bed, sofa, flatscreen television, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove top and oven. The bathroom has one sink, toilet and a tub/ shower combo.

Back down the stairs you will find your very own private (heated) pool with plenty of chairs, deck space and a small eating table. This area is perfect after a long day on the beach with the children. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk and is one of the best beaches on the island. Bikini Bottom is sure to be a family favorite for years to come.

Wonderful East Beach spot!

Perfect location walkable to beach from many side streets or main beach. Walked to WW2 museum! Paddled from just down the street! Pool was great, nice intimate backyard and plenty of room for all the kiddos. Owner and manager were very responsive. Would absolutely come back. Thank you!

Enjoyed this property

My husband and I brought ours son’s family to this property for a long weekend. The property were as described with even more room than we expected. It is also very convenient to the beach. Beach towels were supplied and the kitchen well appointed. The children enjoyed the pool. I would recommend this to any group wanting to gather and enjoy the area.

St Simon’s Island summer vacation

We loved the house. The layout, location, and pool was perfect. It would, however, benefit from increased maintenance and upkeep. The cleaning crew that preceded our stay was lacking overall. In particular, the Pool house bed had soiled linens and dirty towels on the floor of the shower. Unfortunately, we were unable to report this to the rental company after our Saturday check in, because the pool house was locked upon our arrival. By the time a maintenance person arrived to unlock the door, the rental company had closed for the day. We did report this to the rental company on Monday morning and they offered to send someone to clean it. I told them that it was unnecessary since we had already cleaned the shower and washed the sheets ourselves. Overall, we had a great time and with some TLC it could be a great rental.
