About this property

The Upper East Side Shed - Norris Lake & Mountain Rental

This is The Upper East Side Shed. Few locations on Norris Lake are in as close proximity to both the lake, the mountains, and the LaFollette/Jacksboro retail, restaurant, medical, and business district as we are. Across the street from Indian River Marina, we are 2 miles from town. This is a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to stay only 100 yards from Indian River Marina and the lake, and 20 minutes or less to fantastic ATV trails.

New in 2021, the property is 600 s.f. with one sizable living room/kitchen combo and a bedroom with a queen bed. The living room has a high-quality sleeper sofa. A full-size bathroom and washer/dryer laundry room are accessed through the bedroom.
The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. We provide 6 pillows, 2 sets of queen linens, blankets, bedspreads, bath towels, and dish towels, but you must bring your paper products, toiletries, laundry detergent, and dish soap.
There are smart TV's in both rooms with direct tv and WiFi internet service.
We have 2 more Sheds and a house that we rent, so if this one isn't available, ask about the others.

This property is not on the lake, but it is within couple min. Walk to the boat dock. Pretty area, quiet. Bed is a double bed. Comfy. Take extra toilet paper.

Wonderful stay

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend for my 54th birthday. The property was perfect. Very comfortable. Great location and we had a wonderful time on the lake with the pontoon boat. Fred and Debbie are wonderful hosts and we look forward to returning again soon

This little place has all that you really need. It was super clean. The mattress was great and having Dish Network was a bonus. Bathroom was very clean but the shower spigot was loose and the water pressure was quite low. Overall a great stay!

I don't like to give bad reviews. But the shower had very low pressure. For a big man like myself, it was very hard for me to get a good refreshing shower. That's about the only thing I have to criticize. Other than that our vacation was fine...

A Lovely Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Upper East Side Shed. The cottage was clean and exactly as described/pictured. We loved that Indian River Marina was located a relatively short walk down the hill. We rented Fred and Debbi's pontoon boat and spent an entire day in a perfect cove about 20 min from the marina. The boat was clean, exactly as described in the rental agreement, and less expensive than renting from the marina. The homeowners were always quick to respond to questions. The rental units are situated closely on the property. That being said, we considered the area to be quiet considering proximity to neighbors and the occasional truck passing on the way to and from the marina. Would highly recommend staying here. Hope to return soon!

The corner shed

The corner shed was the perfect size for my husband and I to stay on our honeymoon. The koi fish ponds and fire pit were so pretty and we loved relaxing by them. We rented out Fred and Debbie’s pontoon for two days. They were wonderful to work with and gave great hiking recommendations for the area. We would stay again!

Great cabin/shed with all the necessities

We had a great stay at the property over Thanksgiving and everything was there we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves! The place was spotless and pretty easy to find. Be aware that you are closer to other people than you may think, but not so much that it's distracting. Highly recommend!

Cole's Place has three properties that sleep 4 and one property that sleeps 7 at the same location. So, we can sleep 19 people on any given night. Ideal for accommodating multiple families spending time together. Large decks and four kitchens make for great group gatherings. Our location just off Interstate 75 is a great meeting point for folks coming from north and south.
