You can swim in its sandy, shallow waters, fish the lake or right off the back dock, or cruise the lake’s sparkling surface on the included 2022 Sweatwater model 24’ pontoon boat it is the ultimate way to explore – take it to the lake’s busy sandbars, visit public beaches (our favorite is Sullivan Beach right across from Dairy Queen & the Pressure Crack Bar & Grill), or enjoy waterfront dining at one of the many restaurants and bars also accessible by boat (notable favorites the Limber Lost Bar/Restaurant or Lakeside Hotel Bar & Restaurant)

Endless Adventures: From kayaking/Canoeing and paddleboarding in the summer just out our back door to riding the snowmobile trails a short ride away, sledding at one of the largest sled hills in Michigan, or walking the cross-country skiing/Snow shoeing headquarters just down the street in the winter, there’s always something to do. Explore the area’s ATV and snowmobile trails or enjoy cozy nights by the fireplace or outdoor built in fire pit after a day of endless adventure.

• Cozy Comfort: Sleeps 12 in beds, with bed linens, towels, and basic toiletries provided. Fully equipped kitchen stocked with everything you need, plus coffee and supplies.

Our home is located on the serene Cut River just a short boat or kayak ride from lake, offering peaceful waterfront views and easy access to Houghton Lake. You’re just minutes from town, where you’ll find top-notch ice cream parlors, bars/restaurants, and even some shopping too. Enjoy the balance of a private escape with the convenience of nearby amenities.

With plenty of parking (a large circular pull-through driveway and a connecting three-car-wide straight driveway), there’s plenty of space for your group and any additional vehicles or trailers for toys like jet skis or ATVs.

House Rules & Important Details

To ensure a seamless stay for everyone, we ask guests to observe the following:

• Rental Agreement: Guests are required to sign rental agreements after booking.
• Pet Policy: Pets must be pre-approved by management and are subject to a fee. Unauthorized pets can incur a separate $400 deep cleaning fee.
• Shoes Off Inside: To keep our home clean and cozy for all guests.
• Dining Room Table Care: Use coasters to protect the custom wood table and other furniture from hot items.
• Quiet Hours: Please respect our neighbors with quiet time after midnight.
• Guest Age Policy: Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
