It was wonderful . Peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was a amazing amenity. Love the decorations in the home . I would highly recommend this home for other guests.
The location is great! Tucked in beautiful aspen trees and not to far from town, this was a much needed getaway and the hot tub was great as well, we had one snowy night and one crystal clear night in the hot tub and it was amazing!! We will definitely stay here again!! Thank you for everything.
This lovely cabin in the woods was just perfect for a weekend recharge! We loved sitting on the deck listening to the birds and the whispering aspens, going for walks with our dogs, and ending the evening relaxing in the hot tub. Can't wait to do it again!
The cabin was exactly what i was looking for! The fridge did go out but mike and maggie were on top on it. They were so friendly and replaced it fast. It was in a perfect location.
The back yard and hot tub were the stars of the show!
Sweet back yard for dogs to wander and play! Hot tub was awesome! Cabin is a little long in the tooth with lots of little things that need fixing. The front deck felt like it was about to fall off and the coffee pot was broken apon arrival. Little things that were easy to overlook bc my dogs loved the back yard and I loved the hot tub! And really close to cripple creek if you like to gamble! Would def stay there again. P.s. don’t mind the sound of the front door slamming open in the middle of the night… it is just a water pump or something in the front closet. Scared the dickens out of me! : )
Great cabin tucked away and surrounded by Aspen Trees!
We stayed in the cabin last month and had a great time. The cabin is located at the end of a country road surrounded by Aspen Trees -- so it was very secluded and private!
It was clean and nicely appointed with everything that you could ever need. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after a long day hiking.
We hiked to see the newest troll: Rita the Rock Planter and toured the Gold Mine, both in Cripple Creek and then traveled to nearby Victor to see the gold mines.
Great cabin, hope to stay there again next time we're in the area!
Could use some maintenance. Poor trash facilities. Dirty pots, cobwebs in kitchen, dirty windows, damaged window frame on door to balcony. Toilet seat loose. Enjoyed the peace and quiet but high elevation bothered us.
This cabin is just right for a cabin in the mountains. It is well stocked and we had everything we needed. There is wildlife around. We saw deer almost every day. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets for those chilly evenings. Also, the electric fireplace is great. The hot tub was also wonderful. From the hot tub, you could see the gorgeous night sky with no light pollution.
The cabin itself is nice. Well stocked and we loved the location.
Views could be better. Lots of Aspen trees block view of mountain across the way.
Water pump made loud noises when water turned on.
Didn’t care for 30 gal. trash can in small
kitchen. Bear proof can would be better.
Would stay here again. Peace and serenity is what we came for. Thanks.
The check in directions advised to dismiss GPS and follow an entirely different route. Why? I have no idea, we wasted an extra 30-45 mins in a winter storm driving around Cripple Creek instead of through it. The views driving into Cripple Creek are beautiful and we we redirected through Florissant instead.
Once we got there, there was no driveway or path up to the cabin off the road, about a 200 yard trek through the snow, UP HILL. It's a good thing I had my Sequoia to drive in a path but my mom had to leave her car at the bottom of the hill and ride up with us. An after thought that wasn't mentioned until the cabin was confirmed noting that 4x4 would be suggested during winter months.
The cabin itself it just as pictured and what you'd expect for this type of listing. The main room heats the rest of the house so make sure to leave your bedroom doors open at night or risk getting chilly. There are space heaters and extra blankets if you need them.
The views were beautiful, the fire place was cozy and it wasn't too far from Cripple Creek making it enjoyable for the most part.
The beds are really uncomfortable, we weren't expecting a mattress like ours at home but I honestly would've been more comfortable on the floor. The counch and chairs in the living room are super comfy also!
We left early and opted not to stay the second night so we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but I'm sure it would've been amazing had we gotten a chance to use it.
The vacation house is in a beautiful area ,comfortable drive up to it and was easy to find. Was really nice to have a jacuzzi, which we used more than once. We really enjoyed our stay , when we had a question about the internet service, everyone replied right away .thanks for being so accommodating,we had a really nice time. Daiva
This is our second consecutive summer to stay at this cabin. Although we have rented other properties that were perhaps larger or fancier, this little cabin is very clean, quaint and quite comfortable. We love the peace, quiet and seclusion of this place. The deer walking through are your only visitors, and the assortment of beautifully colored hummingbirds, jays, bluebirds and chickadees are fun to watch. We bring bird food and a hummingbird feeder from home. It’s worth it!
The hot tub provides a perfect therapeutic option after a day of hiking, fishing, shopping. We plan to return to this cabin for a third consecutive year next summer. Strongly recommend.
My three children (25, 23, and 17) and I stayed over the recent 4th of July weekend. The property was immaculate and just as described! The location was absolutely gorgeous and close to everything we wanted to do. The hot tub was perfect after long days of hiking and exploring the area. Thanks for making the whole process easy and worry free. We’d definitely stay again!
Well this little slice of heaven was just what my wife and I needed. Seclusion and peace for our honeymoon. The checking in process was simple. Finding it was easy, following the directions that were sent to us.
There was everything in the cabin that was needed but the frying pans were in rough shape and the knives were impressively dull. I wouldn't recommend renting a tiny car, as we had a prius and we had trouble parking due to some minor washout. Another note is the elevation and if you're not use to it (9000 ft) it might be a little breath taking for the first day or so.
There was a group of mule deer(moms and fawns) that came in to visit just about every night. I've spent time in other places in CO before but have never seen some of the birds that came around the cabin.
Cripple Creek is 10 mins up the road with lots to see, a grocery store, family dollar and more casinos than people. The mine tour is worth it if you aren't afraid of close spaces and pikes peak and garden of the gods is less than an hour drive.
Over all the cabin is amazing and the area makes it even better. There's a very good chance that my wife and I will stay here again.
We loved the property. Very peaceful and secluded The hot tub in the cool evenings to end the day was great. The location is perfect. Will definately love to come back and will recommend

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The area was quiet with beautiful scenery. Family had fun seeing some of the wildlife in the area. Proximity to Cripple Creek was great and actually had some fun things to do for the whole family. The mine was our favorite!

Beautiful location
Very peaceful however the dishes were dirty and you should probably bring your own toilet paper. The Hot tub was nice and there was a family of deer that like to hang out which is awesome.
