The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Excellent location for snow play and skiing activities. There is a door to a closet where the attic is that does not close in the room with the bunk beds, which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise the location was great!

I'd come back again!!!

The whole experience was great. The only problem is that the washing machine didn't work and I didn't know how to tell the owner.

Quite the Christmas

The house is lovely but there definitely were some issues. I had to point out twice that we hadn't received the check in code before it was provided. Written materials say each bathroom will be equipped with soap in the shower and shampoo and conditioner. In fact neither bathroom had any of those things. Also the upstairs shower doesn't get very hot. Certainly no one expected the snow we experienced but the house should be better equipped for that as I understand there are also power outages in the summer when there are thunderstorms. The house had no flashlights and no candles. We had two whole days with no power. Also, when there is no power the gas stove cannot be used even with a match. This may be a safety feature but others in our party who were renting other properties did not have that experience with their stoves.

Great getaway!

Three couples from Florida stayed at this house for a week and we had a great time. The bathrooms need updating and a bed in the master bedroom is small, however the location is excellent. Donner Lake and downtown Truckee are less then 5 minutes away. Also so many hiking trails and easy access to Truckee river for bicycling and kayaking. The manager responded very quickly for our needs. Small gifts which included a bottle of yummy wine was a great touch. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

Great location

The home as all the amenities required and is exactly as shown. We really liked our stay there. The only minus is the cleanliness of the floors. It needs a strong mopping since all our feet were black walking on it.
