House was very clean and equipped with enough cooking equipment and had plenty of space for several people to work preparing meals. Huge table held 12 people for our big dinner gathering. Bring kitchen essentials such as foil, baggies, spices and extra paper towels and napkins as a big group will run short of what is provided. Great ocean view from the roof top deck that has a fire pit.

Family Vacation

We booked this property for the first time this year and it did not disappoint. It was just as described and as beautiful as shown in the pictures We were a block off the beach with easy access to shops and restaurants. The property was very clean and well stocked. We highly recommend. It was truly one of our most memorable family vacations.

Get away to Avila

This was a great house for a group as there is space to gather in the primary level. The open concept was perfect and allowed everyone to feel together. It was very easy to walk to the beach or town. Thank you for opening your home up so other can enjoy Avila Beach

Perfect beach house

Perfect house. Perfect location. Had everything and more for our family reunion. 8 of us stayed but we used the house for dinner it fit all 20 of us very comfortably. In the garage they had beach stuff for our use! It was perfect!

My mother is 90 & used the chair lift to enjoy the roof deck & views. The beach in Avila is wonderful & 2 blocks away!

Lifetime girlfriends all celebrating turning 70 this year got together for wine tasting and memories to laugh about. Such a great house for this to take place! House is exactly as pictured. Open and beautiful.

Also only a few minutes away from both Pismo Beach and SLO. Absolutely great for all five kids age 3 to 14. One especially loved the aquarium, all loved the beautiful beach. We all loved the small town feel and are glad we stayed here instead of Pismo Beach! I can't say enough about what a pretty town this is and what a great location this house is in.

The home is perfect for our needs. It is well stocked and in a great location. Loved the fire pit on the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed having ping pong, corn hole and a putting green. We had a minor maintenance issue and 7 sisters reacted quickly to fix the problem. We hope to be back!

I was pleased with the floor plan, the three bedrooms being upstairs. The chair lift was especially helpful for me since I’m still recovering from a fall. The chair on the landing was not working. I would have appreciated grab bars in shower.

Property was selected because of bedrooms and chair lift on stairs. Despite our phone confirmation that there were 2 bedrooms on main floor , in fact there was one..This conversation was with someone in management office who said she was very familiar with property Told to inform office is needed access to chair lift. This was done one week prior to rental. Upon arrival there was no keys. Person that came got all three chairs operating but could not return them. Next day Kurt and Cheryl came to operate oven and we had them look at chair lift. They tried to figure out how to call lift back and we suggested there should be a remote but they had no knowledge of such a device. The next day I called office and left a message. The next morning Kathryn called and said she left at 3 the day before. She would send a supervisor. No one ever came. This was a major inconvenience for 6 women over 80

Perfect location, beach was super close, and walking distance to everything at Avila Beach. We did go on probably one of the hottest weekends of the year and found out fast that there was no A/C, note to self do not go on the hottest weekend. Would stay here again though, had the beach equipment, loved the corn hole and putting green and ping pong table, made family memories.

Grandma’s family treat

Easy. Communication was good with breakdown of fees and payments. The location was perfect for my family to walk to town and beach. House very comfortable and beautiful. This was my summer treat for my family and grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed being together in such a wonderful town.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good family bonding experience but disappointed in the house view. From the images on line, there looks to be a view but that is only from the 4th floor rooftop. The main living floor overlooks a parking lot. Appliances in kitchens we all broken so cooking in house was a challenge. The refrigerator froze our food. Dishwasher racks were broken and could not be pulled out. The furniture in the house is very worn and needs to be replaced-especially the kitchen stools! This house for the price was not a good value and pictures on line are deceiving.
