My friend and I had a wonderful time at this property in December. We were extremely comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, beds were nice, and I was moaning about rentals should have chrome casts a minute before I saw there was a chrome cast already hooked up to the tv! Well situated and walkable to downtown even in middle of winter. Will stay here again!
Delightful home near the city center. Very comfortable and great communication with manager

Bit disappointed
The house itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Wish i had been aware of the amount of stairs we would have to climb. The parking is on the street, climb extremely steep steps to access the property. Also didn't know that there was another unit above and the outdoor seating area was only for the upper level. We ended up leaving a day early due to health issues that made climbing the stairs difficult for us.
This property was lovely and set up on a hill very close to the Capitol Building. It was very comfortable for our 2 night stay and worked well as a home base for all the sight seeing we did. There are a lot of stairs to enter the home and we had 2 people with sprained ankles so that process was a bit slow, but we made it work. My daughter and I sat outside one night and overlooked the city lights. I would recommend to anyone traveling to Salt Lake.

So loud the rental above us!
Hard to sleep with all the noise. Close to all but you need uber as the hills are very steep to walk
We stayed in this place when dropping out son off at the University of Utah. It was great! We loved the decor and the beds were super comfortable. Very close to the Capital and we took morning walks around there. Washer and dryer came in handy. Drew and Chrissy were easy to work with. We’d definitely stay there again.
My family and I loved this place! The house was great and as advertised and the location was perfect. It was right near downtown and the Capital Building and about 10 minutes or less to most places we toured.

Unexpected Downstairs Stay
The property, location, and interior would all be worthy of five stars. Unfortunately, the pictures and description are very deceptive of the fact that this particular space is downstairs in this lovely home. The balcony overlooking the city you see in the photos is for the "upstairs" guests. We specifically rent properties rather than hotels for the noise factor alone and because we do not want to hear guests overhead late or during the night keeping us awake. This may not bother some guests that don't mind all the additional noise, but that was not made clear in the property description and was very disappointing! We were fortunate enough to have respectful guests above us but in an old, creaky house they still kept us up and woke us in the night.
There is nowhere in the description of this property or photos that you would know you are staying downstairs beneath other guests in the lovely home pictured in all the photos. Not being straightforward in what you are renting left us feeling deceived.
We loved the location of this property! It looked just like the photos! Beautiful & peaceful. Walking distance to many local attractions. Easy driving to many other locations. The property manger was very attentive! Highly Recommend this location!!!
Absolutely in love with this apartment!
Location, well maintained and tastefully decorated!
Drew is an excellent communicator and my son and I enjoyed our short stay.
A pleasure to do a business with and will definitely return. Recommend to anyone who travels to Salt Lake City!
Thank you for your hospitality!
The property is located in a quiet and historical neighborhood near downtown SLC. It's the downstairs unit of the house with a nice view of the city from the kitchen and dining room windows. Street parking is right in front of the house. The house is nicely decorated, true to the pictures on the website. It has plenty of storage room for us to put our luggage out of sight. We especially enjoyed the feature of connecting the TV to my phone so that we could use the apps on my phone to watch what we liked instead of signing in through the TV. The communication with Chrissy and Drew was smooth. A nice home-away in SLC.
By far the worst property we've ever rented. I hope this review helps save others from going through the horrible experience our family had to endure...
The property is loud. Insanely loud. The upstairs unit is rented separately and the noise levels are intolerable. When the upstairs tenants walk it shakes the entire house! You can hear every single footstep. The paper-thin floorboards (built in 1917) creak and rattle at unbearably loud levels, waking us up in the mornings and keeping us up late at night (often until 1am or later). Our 8 year old son, who is a very deep sleeper, was constantly awoken by the racket upstairs.
Additionally, the upstairs unit obviously attracts people who want to party. Forget about the "low noise levels after 10pm", "no parties" and "no smoking" rules. This is a place where anything goes. We were even treated to a late-night karaoke party one evening. Yeah, that was fun.
There were two different groups of tenants who rented the upstairs unit during our stay and both had large groups of people drinking and smoking, yelling, singing.... basically having a great time at our family's expense. I complained multiple times to the hosts but nothing changed. We even resorted to banging on the ceiling with a broom handle! The whole experience was ridiculous. It got so bad I had to threaten to call the police to break up one of the parties.
Bottom line: Stay away. This unit is totally unusable when there are tenants upstairs. Save your money (we paid over 2 grand) and stay at the Motel 6 down the street. You'll be much happier there!
