The house was better than we expected. Atmospheric, cosy and with lots of kitchen equipment and two barbecues. The communication with the owner was excellent. I can recommend this house to people who like to experience a bit of the life in a fisherman’s town. Within 10 minutes walk you’ll find a lot of shops, restaurants, a pebble beach and a harbour with possibilities of joining a trip on a small boat.

Un bel endroit

La propriété est très agréable et est parfaite pour des vacances en famille près de la mer. L'accueil du propriétaire est très sympathique. La maison est confortable et fonctionnelle. Le port de Saint-Valery-en-Caux est charmant et il y a beaucoup à visiter alentour. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances.

Ein etwas feuchtkühler Sommer am Meer

Das Haus liegt auf einem Hügel mitten in der Stadt, so dass alle Destinationen fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Allerdings gibt es in der Stadt selbst keinen normalen Einkaufsladen, dafür aber einen Leclerc am Ortsrand, der leicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen ist. Der Strand ist ein Kieselstrand wie fast alle anderen auch an diesem Küstenabschnitt und nur bei Ebbe kommt ein Teil als Sandstrand frei. Besonders schön ist der im 7 km entfernten Nachbarnort Veules les Roses. Das Haus ist von der Familie eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was zur Selbstversorgung gehört. Vielleicht könnte noch ein TV angeschafft werden für die Regentage. Wir haben das Objekt erst kurz vor Reiseantritt gemietet und verglichen mit anderen, ähnlichen Häusern ist es relativ teuer. Das wussten wir natürlich vorher, aber vielleicht könnte Frederic den Preis noch etwas regulieren. Im Garten sitzt man herrlich und hört die Möwen und den Wind, dazu lässt man sich ein frisches Baguette mit Käse und Rose schmecken und bewundert die vielen Blumen.
