We were in town for a wedding nearby, and the Rusty Rose was the perfect spot for our family to stay. Very clean. Nicely appointed. Great kitchen. The weekend we stayed there was quite chilly, so we needed heat rather than A/C, and that worked very well! Heather was prompt in her replies to any questions we had during the time leading up to our stay. Overall, a great place for the six of us for the weekend!
Our stay at the Rusty Rose was lovely! Beautiful, clean, house with fabulous details and comfortable spaces. The bright kitchen was a charming place to enjoy breakfast and the gardens were delightful. This was the perfect location for exploring the area…Harper’s Ferry, Antietam, Boonsboro, even a reasonable drive to GAP Trail in Cumberland. And Daisycakes Bakery (just across the street) was a wonderful added bonus. Thank you Heather for offering such a lovely house to enjoy; it was just what we were hoping to find!
Beautiful home! Lots of character, very comfortable! A lot of care was taken to make this property fell like home! Would definitely stay again! Thank you, Heather!!
The host was very responsive! The house was exactly as described in the listing. Lots of unique decorations throughout. Thankfully my dog is well trained so having lots of antiques around was not an issue. The only thing that I didn't like was the "no dogs on furniture or bedding" which was not part of the listing. The beds were extremely comfortable and lots of pillows to go around. The house was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products, k cup ect. We loved having a bakery, farm stand, and meat market right across the street.Would definitely recommend
We had 6 in our group and it was perfect especially for the price. Super clean, great responsive host, good location. Bakery directly across the street and ice cream and sandwich shop just down the road at the light. Will definitely stay here again.
We were in the area visiting my sister in Frederick, but also had family members from PA & VA visiting, so this was a great house and yard for family gatherings. Very clean and comfortable. And the hostess, Heather, was quick to reply to any questions we had, both before and during our stay. My only friendly critique is to raise the "Guest Room" sign for the room at the top of the stairs, next to the bathroom. I can't tell you how many times my wife & I bumped our heads on it. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and I have no problem recommending this as a great place to stay.
The Host Heather have the most beautiful personality. She was very helpful. Told us the history of the home which we was able to appreciate everything about this beautiful home.
Great house to use during our visit to Jefferson. Kitchen is well equipped, and coffee supplies are provided. Comfy beds plus air conditioning made for great sleep.
We loved visiting! Wish we could've stayed longer. The accommodations were great; super comfortable and inviting. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks for having us!
We had a great stay at the Rusty Rose! It was decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. We especially loved walking across the street in the morning for coffee and donuts at the little bakery in town. Would definitely stay here again!
Visiting family over the holidays. Our trip was great. Location was perfect. Rental house accommodations fulfilled our needs, was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.
The house was charming and nicely decorated. Very clean and well stocked with the comforts of home in the kitchen. It worked well for our group of 5.The only thing we found uncomfortable were the dining room chairs. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
We stayed at this property for a wedding in the area. The house was provided a great space to relax. It was well stocked and was the perfect location for all of our wedding festivities.
We loved the house. The location was perfect to travel via MARC to DC. The beds were by far the most comfortable of any place I've stayed! Definitely would consider re-booking!!!
