Our stay was so incredibly nice! The location was perfect! We were right on the river and you could hear the river from the master bedroom (it was so nice to sleep to that sound!). We also loved how you felt so in nature, but only 6 minutes from town so it was super convenient! The owners put so much thought into little details that made us feel welcome immediately (like a little smores kit and Halloween candy (since we showed up right after Halloween so it was super cute)). All of the decorations were so homey and the layout of the house was great! Everything was incredible and definitely made our vacation the best!

The house was great, close to shops, dining and entertainment. The house is on flat land with plenty of parking spaces. The hot tub and the back porch was perfect. Spent every morning and evening out there listening to the river. Would recommend to anyone staying in Elijay.

This property is truly a gem tucked in the woods yet close to everything! My family traveled to Ellijay for a wedding at Summit Farm Weddings (highly recommend this six-generation family-owned venue), and this home made our weekend even more special.My elderly parents loved their main-floor bedroom with a private bath, and there’s another bedroom on the same level for easy access. The upstairs suite was massive — perfect for my husband, myself, and our toddler granddaughter, who was in hog heaven with all the toys!The house was beautifully appointed, spotless, and extremely comfortable — the owners truly thought of everything. The coffee station was wonderful, with plenty of oversized mugs and everything you could possibly need to make the perfect individual cup of joe.What the property description doesn’t fully capture is just how spectacular the setting is: right on the river, surrounded by trees, peaceful, and cozy.Kim was a fantastic host, communicating promptly and kindly before check-in. We would absolutely recommend this property and would love to stay here again!

I cannot say enough good things about this location and the property owners. The attention to detail was astounding. The home was spacious and located in a quiet spot away from traffic noise. You could want for nothing. Kimberly was extremely gracious when we arrived earlier than planned and allowed us entry (very unusual and we would have understood had she declined).I would give six stars if I could. And would highly recommend this property.

Relaxing weekend get away

We very much enjoyed the get away. The cabin was nicely supplied with toiletries, coffee bar, little snacks, s’more treats, and more. The only draw back was the “hot tub” wasn’t hot. It felt like a lukewarm bath. That was disappointing.

We love this house. The layout is great for 3 generations. The river, the fire pit, the quiet are perfect. Gas logs, good internet, great TV-if you even need it 😁. Turkeys, deer, and a bear-oh my! Walked up on the bear but I think he didn’t see us as a threat and ran off by the river. Highly recommend for a relaxing convenient location to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, hiking, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at the river house! The house had everything you could possibly need and more. There were so many special touches around the house and the house has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the hot tub, listening to the river and making s'mores at the fire pit. The house is great! Location is beautiful. The house was clean and everything you might need was there! We loved the back porch, the fire pit, the river! A great place to stroll around. Thankfully we did not see any bears! We enjoyed a float down the river. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The coffee bar had everything you might need. We will definitely be back!

Fun family time!

We had a nice time at the house on the river! It was beautiful and listening to the running river from the porches was wonderful! The kids really enjoyed the game room and hot tub. We all enjoyed the coffee bar! The river was running pretty fast, so our kiddos had to be careful in the river right at the house, but I’m sure it’s not always that swift/full. There are neighboring houses pretty close by, but we didn’t see anyone out and about while we were there. Ellijay has a fun downtown area that we enjoyed, also. Overall a very nice experience! We would enjoy staying here again if we return to the area!
