Very clean & comfortable. Loved that there is a Keurig & coffee pods provided. So nice to have a fridge in the room. The cooking accommodations were very helpful, but it was hard to get in there to cook. There was a large group there at mealtimes. I would recommend that you drive in with a pickup truck or a jeep. The porch rockers were a hit. I highly recommend the Ten Bits Ranch accommodations.

The desert surroundings are a definite plus. The firepit on the edge of the gully became our outdoor living room. More walking trails (blazed with white rocks) in the desert would be good! more stuff to do like the Apache Cave Trail.

⸻We really enjoyed our stay at 10 Bits Ranch! The property is unique, peaceful, and perfectly located for exploring Big Bend. The views are incredible, and the Western-themed casitas make the stay feel extra special. Everything was clean and comfortable, and it was a great place to come back to after a long day.

We like our stay, unique i like the old west style, clean room, amenities included are water in side the room, coffee, tv , ac. The place is awsome in terms of the setting. For future guest 10 min of dirt road, about 20 to 30 to park entrance If you stay on the far away rooms main kitchen is far away

Beautiful Views

I simply cannot wait to come back. The cabins were well cared for, and the scenery is amazing. I am into astrophotography, and I was able to capture stunning shots from right outside the porch. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We really enjoyed the secluded setting, surrounded by hills and mountains. Very quiet and peaceful. Room was perfect with a thermostat-controlled gas fireplace and comfortable beds and nice sofa. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Incredible star viewing

The property was very nice and put together well. The location is a bit remote so make sure to bring your own drinks and snacks but otherwise it is an amazing location with great facilities. Check in and out was seamless.

Loved the peaceful, quiet setting alongside the mountains and a small canyon! The construction of the building provided good insulation and we were able to stay cool with the mini-split AC system even in mid July. Had an issue with operating the TV, so were unable to use it, but probably better that way. Room included ample courtesy water. There was also water in the common kitchen building, as well as milk and some other basics. There were several communal refrigerators there, which was convenient, but found lots of stuff left by other guests LONG out of date. Maybe implementing a system where food items must be labeled with name/date and removed upon checkout would be a good idea. We also found some pancake mix and whipped up some impromptu breakfast and sat at the big dining table and played some games :)Wish we could have stayed longer, but we needed a place with a tub (only showers here). A little off the beaten path (long dirt road to access the property), but we liked that.

Beautiful and friendly

The setting is gorgeous, the managers are very proactive in communicating and it is just as described. It was so quiet, the night sky was fabulous and the communal kitchen added just the right touch of camaraderie to a quiet desert getaway. Totally charming.

Perfect for our Big Bend Getaway

Perfect location and wonderful facilities. It was perfect for our group (me, my daughter and niece). The location itself had everything we need, esp with the cantina storage and kitchen situation. We loved the fire pit outside our room and the views were amazing. Star gazing each night was magnificent. The only negative comment is the water pressure in the shower - after a long day of hiking and dust the barely there shower was less than satisfying. Will definitely stay again!!

Fantastic

The property was excellent. I love the way they use solar power and try to be Earth friiendly. The view was wonderful, the hiking trails wonderful, the cabin itself was really, really nice. We love tis place. It's our second time there and I'm sure we'll be back. My granddaughter, age 7 didnt want to leave.

A dream experience

This property was gorgeous! I worried we would be “roughing it” here but that wasn’t the case at all. It was clean and welcoming with satellite TV, cool AC and comfortable bedding. Plus a nice bathroom which is important. The view out the front porch can’t be beat! I love that they are dog friendly as we were traveling with our police dog. This was a quiet property and the other guests were all friendly. I hope to come back here one day soon.

The location was amazing! Awesome for star viewing. We were in cabin #8 so that spot was even better to sit and view. The only thing that happened was we had left to go to dinner, came back and someone had actually driven there truck and parked it right next to our window on the side and had already made a fire in the pit that was next to our porch. He offered to move over once we were there but he already had a fire going so we said it’s ok. For one there was no way to drive back there unless he moved rocks to drive and then he told us he liked that ideal spot? So curious is there a designated spot for each cabin or is it a free choice of any? One other thing a hair dryer in room would be awesome! Otherwise we had a wonderful visit.

Nice location but could use a deep cleaning.

Loved the location and the night sky viewing. Big beds were awesome too. However, the place could use a deep cleaning. Floors were still quite sandy/dirty. Shower was not as clean as it should have been and the shower head should be de-scaled or replaced so water flow is not wonky or restricted so much.

Gorgeous views

Exactly as described. It was huge space for 3 adults staying one night. Resembles small western town. Our own fire pit and porch with rocking chairs was great! The cleanliness could use improvement but the views well made up for it. Very comfortable king size beds. Water pressure in shower isnt the best but that could be because they're off grid---shower head needs serious cleaning or replaced. Be aware--its a rough ride up the "driveway."

Overall a great unique experience

This little spot is cute but a bit remote. The cabin we stayed in was great. 2 queen beds and spacious. Bath was very nice too. Plenty of towels and appointed well. Refrig, microwave and coffee bar were appreciated. The 2 miles on the choppy road was not a winner for us. We just learned a bit more about this part of TX and probably won't return as there was so much driving. If you want complete solitude you will love it here. The communication was really good and instant so thanks !
