Delightful getaway

We had an amazing stay at the Apres Cabin. The location was amazing--right on the lake, a 2 min walk to the hot tub, right on the trail and super close to Mazama (which we skied into every day). The host was very communicative and was great with the extra touches as well (the couple of Spotify playlists he curated were absolute perfection!). We are planning to come back!

Winter Getaway

Après Cabin is a beautiful modern lake home with fabulous views of the surrounding mountains from floor to ceiling windows. The living area is very chic and comfortable for a large group lounging or having meals together. We were there for x-country skiing and it accommodated all our gear and the many shoes and boots taken off in the lovely spacious entry. We loved our long stay there.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

This was our second time staying at Apres Cabin and it exceeded our expectations yet again. It's a beautiful and comfortable home located in picturesque Mazama on a lake. There were 8 of us - 4 adults and 4 kids (ranging 4-9) and it fit our families perfectly. The bunk room is great for the kids and the bedrooms are great for the adults! We use the gear garage when they're there which is so helpful so we don't have to bring all of that equipment. We always have a wonderful time here and look forward to coming back again!

Incredible Home

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful. We felt so relaxed 5 minutes into our stay. The kitchen was well stocked. And a guide was provided to use any appliance, this was very helpful for the coffee maker! We used both outdoor patios, really lovely views! The primary bedroom was tucked back in behind the fireplace wall so that we didn’t hear a lot of noise from the great room. The view was serene. The views from the upstairs 2nd primary suite were even better! Loved our stay. We will book again!

Perfection!

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully designed and decorated house. The view was gorgeous. We enjoyed swimming and floating in the lake and walking to the river. The host was very quick to respond to any question we had. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful modern cabin in Mazama

We had a great time at this property. Our group consisted of four adults and four children. Justin is a great host. He is very easy and quick to communicate with and really goes out of his way to make sure all needs are met and that guests are happy. The cabin itself is modern and pretty and suited our group well - especially with the bunk room for the kids. The location is amazing and we had a blast on the lake with the various items from the gear garage. It’s nice to have a hot tub nearby too. Very close to Mazama and Winthrop. The area is stunning! We look forward to returning soon.

Mazama home

Justin's house is simply gorgeous! Every detail of the home is designed to provide guests with their comfort in mind. The views of the water and the mountains can be seen from all of the beautiful large windows. Justin was a fabulous host and he made our family's stay easy and comfortable. We were so lucky to enjoy his home during our wedding celebration weekend in the beautiful Methow Valley. We would come back any time!

What makes this property unique

Après Cabin is part of Wilson Ranch, a private 127 acre community located at the eastern foothills of the North Cascade mountains, just 1.5 miles west of the Mazama junction. Freestone Lake, a small lake stocked with trout is the centerpiece of the community. The Après Cabin is one of six privately owned cabins located on the lake and the first lakeside cabin to be built in over 10 years. The lake is also shared with the Freestone Inn, a small 17 room inn. Guests of the cabin have full access the lakeside hot tub, pool, restaurants and other amenities offered by the Freestone Inn. Wilson Ranch is also home to North Cascade Heli Ski, Washington state's premier Heli ski operator.

Wilson Ranch is a Firewise community and takes proactive measures to protect our community from the threat of wildfire. In addition to Airbnb's cancellation policies, we allow guests to reschedule or cancel in the following cases due to wildfire:

- Okanogan County has placed our cabin at Level 1 evacuation or higher at any point within two weeks of your check-in.
- Okanogan County has placed our cabin at Level 2 evacuation or higher during your visit.
- MV Clean Air Ambassador @ Bush School Air Quality Sensor in Mazama averages over 100 AQI for the week prior to check-in.
