Welcome to Turtle Watch! A beautiful recently renovated 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom canal front luxury condo at the highly desirable The Islander Resort Villas. Turtle Watch has ocean views in the highly desirable west end of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Enjoy coffee on the deck and take in the sounds of the ocean from across the street. Very close to beach access one block away and guests enjoy the luxurious Isles Beach club oceanfront pool and tiki bar during the season. Come back to the deck for happy hour with the turtles in the canal every night. This 2nd floor unit is in the family friendly Islander Resort. Come enjoy time at the beach in this 4 bedroom 4 bathroom spacious 2000sq ft condo with easy access to the elevator. Enjoy views of the ocean and Intracoastal waterway from the deck and living area. Turtle Watch has a full kitchen with eat-in breakfast bar. Seating for six is provided at the dining table or choose to each at the table on the outdoor lanai while listening to the ocean waves. Sheets and towels are provided complimentary and included in the cleaning fee. We recently installed ultra-high speed fiber internet so you can stream your favorite channels on our 60” Sony flatscreen. Please note we don’t provide cable, but that’s no worries because you can use your local cable app on our smart TV, and of course Netflix, Hulu etc.

The Islander Clubhouse is a short walk as well and includes a large outdoor pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, tikki bar all oceanfront. Come enjoy these amenities complimentary with your rental. Please note that the pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Ocean Isle Beach is the perfect location for a relaxing beach vacation! The area is very family friendly and provides numerous activities. Ocean Isle Beach is located within one hour of Wilmington, Southport, Oak Island, Holden Beach, Bald Head Island, Sunset Beach, Calabash, and Myrtle Beach. These areas include shopping and entertainment such as touring the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial, shopping at the historic Cotton Exchange or Chandler's Wharf, Fort Fisher Aquarium, Caswell Lighthouse, Bald Head Lighthouse, the Alabama Theater, championship golf and a full array of wonderful restaurants.

It was so lovely to stay a block away from the ocean! Mother nature was not very cooperative, but my dog and I tried to walk the beach every day. Tripp was a very responsive host, and we will try and go there again!

Well stocked kitchen. Towels and linens provided. Great location. My granddaughter was pregnant but it was easy to drive her down to the club house to use the pool or beach -only a one minute drive with plenty of parking. Owner was very prompt in answering any questions. It was great to be able to take our dog along!

Rating: 7/10Great location, quiet neighborhood, ample parking, and easy beach access. The elevator was a nice perk, deck furniture was comfortable, and WiFi held up well for a large group. Unfortunately, several issues held this property back from the “modern renovation” it advertises.Issues:•Wobbly chair – A dining chair had a severely loose leg and my wife nearly fell. After our stay I found the same issue flagged in a 2022 review. This has been a known safety problem for at least three years with no fix.•Clogged bathtub – The tub in our bedroom was completely clogged and unusable.•Shower curtain rod – Fell off the wall mid-stay with only a wet towel and a sport coat on it.•Laundry – Found a full load of soured towels in the dryer two days in — left damp from the pre-arrival housekeeping run. The dryer is severely underpowered (2 hours for a small load) and the washer runs so off-balance it shakes the unit.•Kitchen – Scratched non-stick pans need to be replaced. Cooking utensils, baking pans, and a proper broom are all lacking.We contacted the owner during our stay and received no response. The bones of this property are solid — with basic maintenance and better housekeeping oversight this could easily be a 4–5 star experience.

Perfect family week

We loved everything about our week at Turtle Watch, from hanging out on the balcony, playing virtual golf on the tv, real golf nearby, lots of beach time and fishing, great food from the many nearby restaurants and also fresh seafood we prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. The beach club is a favorite hangout and we enjoyed lunch at the tiki bar several times. One night, when there was a 2 and a half hour wait at Sharky's, we were able to walk in to the restaurant at the beach club, where we enjoyed an amazing oceanfront meal. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms gave us and our grown children plenty of space to spread out and relax.

Everything was wonderful at this property. Clean, well stocked, easy to get to and close to the beach! The only thing I found odd was the lack of hardware in the bathrooms (TP and towel holders). Overall excellent rental!

Family week

Four families fit perfectly. We had a great time, and we loved sitting on the porch. We got to see a huge storm come in!! Sweet turtles and baby ducks in the pond under us. We rented a golf cart to help get us to and from the beach/clubhouse. We love that clubhouse so we could use the pool and bathroom. The Tiki bar there was great for a quick lunch. The elevator is super helpful when we have groceries or luggage. The owner responds very quickly if I had any questions. Will definitely stay again!!

Very nice, clean and well-maintained unit. Close walk to the beach and the pool. Ample parking for three or four cars. Tennis court, pickle ball court and basketball court on premises. Nice outside deck to enjoy the ocean breezes. Owner had nice chairs and cart for use at the beach, which was an added bonus.

The condo was spacious and clean. The elevator made it very easy to to bring in luggage and groceries. Beach chairs were great also! My only critique is to please provide more cleaning supplies, and a wine tool! There was no coffee either- But overall A place!
