Exclusive waterfront quiet relaxation at Casa Mel-O House

The Casa Mel O is an amazing relaxing retreat where guests experience waterfront relaxation from all 5 decks. This premium location gives both sunrise and sunset views from multiple levels and decks. All bedrooms have sweeping waterfront views and individual access to decks overlooking both the waterfront and maritime forest. Walk to restaurants (2 min walk), local brewery (8 min walk), even the beautiful Surf City beach (20 min walk 4 min drive).
The three bedrooms are on the second floor, all with direct access to the Verandah deck with two double hammocks. The open living area, dining room, and kitchen are located on the 3rd floor giving unrestricted water views in every direction. The property offers elevated decks and direct waterfront access, we caution those with small children. Two foldout mattresses can also sleep 2 in game room if needed. This exclusive property books fast and limited availability.
We offer this property to guests interested in a quiet vacation, in a quiet neighborhood, near all that Surf City and Topsail Island have to offer. A limit of 6-8 guests allows optimal enjoyment for this reserved area.
Whether you are relaxing in one of the multiple hammocks, sipping a cocktail while watching boats pass by, fishing from the bank of the property, or enjoying an evening stroll along the bridge, we are sure you will enjoy the Casa Mel O.

Limit to 6 guests (2 more if sleeping in game room), onsite parking for 3 vehicles, 3 story house, quiet hours enforced, not recommended for toddlers, kayaking allowed from the property but no powerboat tie up/parking.

Great House with a Beautiful View!

Property was clean and inviting. Loved watching the boats from the large back decks and really enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks. Convenient to restaurant next door which has awesome food. Would definitely stay here again!

House was perfect and just as described. VERY clean. Host was very accommodating. Great location and awesome waterfront views! Our kids enjoyed the morning routine of walking to Sears Landing for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We love the beach and coastal activities. Surf City is our favorite beach from all of our beach vacations. We are thrilled to offer our beach getaway to those that are looking for a quiet and relaxing waterfront getaway like we are fortunate to enjoy. We enjoy the Casa Mel O as often as possible and enjoy spending time with family and friends. We have always lived near Wilmington and our love for Surf City began at the campground seen just across the waterway.

Why they chose this property

The Casa Mel O is a dream come true for us. We began enjoying this area when enjoying weekend getaways at Surf City. This house offers everything we enjoy; waterfront views, kayaking, wildlife (eagles, osprey, dolphins, deer), surfing, boating, and the best part... spending time with family and friends. The quiet neighbors and location offer serenity. Our guests have a responsibility to the neighbors, us, and future guests to enjoy a quiet stay in a quiet location.

What makes this property unique

The Casa Mel O provides everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The central location to restaurants and water activities while offering unobstructed views of maritime forest, wildlife, and passing boats is a rare find.
