We enjoyed staying at Mountain Peaks Inn. Hill City was central to all the places we wanted to see and the Elkhorn room was perfect. It had a side entrance and made coming and going easy. The room was laid out perfectly for us. The shower was super as well as the rest of the living area. The coffee shop was a great place to go for coffee and other breakfast items, as well as lunch, and just hang out. The personnel at the coffee shop were so helpful and served us well!Lisa was a very good host and was available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying at Mountain Peaks.

We were in town for a family weekend and this was my first experience reserving a Vrbo. I highly recommend Mountain Peaks Inn. The process was so easy, the hosts were great and the location was perfect for access to all things in and around the heart of the Hills.
Mountain Peaks Inn was a very nice, clean and quiet place to stay. The owners were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely look to stay there again on our next visit to the Black Hills.
Great central location for visiting all the sites in SD. Perfect size for a couple. Cafe attached has wonderful coffee and bakery items. Hosts are very accommodating to your needs.
We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Peaks Inn Lodging, if your looking for a laid back place that has small town charm this is your place. Communication with owners was great.
Perfect location in Hill City! Walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. The attached coffee shop is perfect in the mornings! We visit the Hills often and will definitely stay her again and recommend to our family and friends!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location very close to Hill City and the Mickelson trail. Listing is accurate, but outdoor spaces not attractive and accommodation is cramped for this couple.

We are sorry to hear you found the outdoor space not to be attractive and were cramped. There is nothing we can do about the size of the unit, which is larger than most typical hotel rooms, but we can try to improve the outdoor patio outside of the room.
We hope you found the room to be cozy and welcoming. All the best.
Very cute cabin. Friendly hosts. Great coffee! Great area, a lot to do. We had a family reunion at Palmer gulch. Everyone had a great time and loved the area!
We loved our stay! Very clean & quiet. Could walk downtown whenever we wanted. The family was very friendly & accommodating! Very good breakfast burritos at the coffee shop!
Friendly and helpful hosts offered advice on things to do in the area.
Great location within walking distance of shopping, dining, and the 1880 train that has rides to and from Keystone.

Thank you, Jillayne. We are glad you enjoyed your visit!
Cabin was intimate but perfect for what we needed. Location was great, several restaurants within easy walking distance, gas stations and shops if so desired. Also walking distance to 1880 Train and very comfortable distance to a lot of area attractions.
Cooking was not allowed inside but we used the provided grill and brought electric skillets that we plugged in on the deck area. Worked great.
Owners were great to work with and met all of our needs. Make sure to stop by their coffee shop in the morning. My daughter loved their shakes.
Enjoyed the table and chairs on the porch. Owners were helpful. I thought there was a stove top. Couldn’t cook. Very comfortable for the wife and I. Overall very satisfied.

Now, we have the privilege of calling Hill City home. Although we are new owners of this property, these cabins have been available on VRBO since 2013.
