My family had a great vacation at Old Mallard! Traveling with 2 little ones, this home had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool and hot tube were prefect hang out spots for both kids and adults. The lake is quiet and so relaxing. Definitely recommend!

Our family of 7 adults and 2 young children had a perfect vacation here. We enjoyed the pool, fishing, the kayak, the canoe, bbq, fire pit, community beach and pool. Jose was very responsive to our requests. Some updates are needed to justify the high cost. These were communicated to the owner.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here. The home itself is beautiful, clean, thoughtfully designed, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The heated pool was huge and incredibly clean! The lake was truly the hidden gem for me.

The heated pool was huge and incredibly clean, with tons of floaties to enjoy, and the hot tub was amazing. But the lake was truly the hidden gem for me. They have kayaks and a little pedal boat available, and even though I don’t normally kayak, I ended up taking one out on my own with my little dog. It was honestly one of my favorite moments of the entire stay. The lake is so serene and beautiful, no matter what time of day you’re out there. I can’t remember the last time I felt that peaceful. We also loved seeing the deer casually wandering through the backyard. They were completely harmless and so beautiful to watch. The surrounding homes were quiet and respectful, which made the whole setting feel even more relaxing. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive whenever we needed anything.

Very cozy and beautiful home. Perfect for a quick getaway very quiet area views by the lake is amazing. Everything you can ask for from the lake to the pool to the jacuzzi.

The house is kept very clean all the amenities you can ask for the s’more station supplied is a great way to welcome their guests as well as the recommendations. Best part of the trip was putting on a fire inside to walking outside on the deck to seeing a family of deer just in the backyard laying around.

Our group was here for a girls weekend and it did not disappoint! It had all the amenities one could want for a summer weekend in August; Lake with dock, inground heated pool (my favorite) and a hot tub. I wish we could've stayed longer!

It had all the amenities one could want for a summer weekend in August; Lake with dock, inground heated pool (my favorite) and a hot tub. I liked to say "It has all the water". The house is surprisingly spacious, it was hard to tell based on the photos if we would feel cramped but it was so open and we didn't feel on top of one another. The number of full bathrooms really helped since there were 9 women in the house at once. We didn't run out of hot water for showers. The kitchen had all the things we could possibly need and having the dumpster outside was very helpful. We really appreciated that, since we paid a cleaning fee and were on vacation, we weren't required to strip the beds or amass the linens like other rentals. The hosts were very communicative if we had any questions. One thing that would've improved the use of the pool would be a tree trimming for all day sun. Overall I wish we could've stayed longer!

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the host thought of everything. ALL your needs are met.
