We enjoyed our stay on North Street. The house was perfect for the 8 of us. Our daughters (4&9) had a wonderful time on the property. We loved the location and enjoyed traveling to the town, Water Safari and the brewery down the road. Thanks for sharing your place!
Fantastic location, private, quiet and walking distance to town. Perfect for large family groups. If you like gravel and single track biking this is your place. Downside—no AC. Main floor bedrooms and master do not have good cross ventilation. If you are used to cool sleeping you won’t be happy during summer stays.
We had a family vacation with a party of 11 adults and kids. The property was set up great! The upstairs worked out great for adults and the downstairs worked out great for an open space and play area for the kids. The basement was spacious and cool in the summer weather.
A fan upstairs is a necessity, mid afternoon is toasty. The home was bigger than we thought and worked out great with the porches for extra relaxing space. Fire pit was nice!
We had a hard time working the key box upon our arrival. It was a bit tricky and again when we checked out.
We would rent this home again!
Thank you to the owners!
The property worked well for us for a family gathering of 11. Accommodations for the most part for what we expected. We did bring kayaks because it description said that we could put them in a few yards away. It was more like a half to 3/4 of a mile down the road. it was very enjoyable but we were so thankful we had a trailer. The indoor and outdoor space worked for us. The lighting could have been better and it would’ve been nice to have a few ceiling fans in the dining room and living room areas to help circulate the air. The space around the property was beautiful. Peaceful and quiet for the most part. We really did feel like we were tucked away. Some of the doors were sticky, and a few of the bedroom doors we could not close all the way. That might need a little attention. It was great having laundry and an extra fridge downstairs. The game room was a nice place to hang out where it was cool. Communication with the owner was a little slow. Sometimes it took a few days for a response. Overall a great experience. Thank you.
Great rental experience. The property was clean and has everything we needed for two families. There was also a playground within walking distance which was great for the kids.
Overall this was a great property. No A/C in the house was not ideal during the summer but if window units are allowed, I’d bring one! A few things could use some attention to detail around the house -ripped screen, loose toilet seat, etc. Not big deals but easy fixes! The house did not seem as though it was cleaned upon our arrival other than a quick vacuum by the previous guests. I had to clean toothpaste off of bathroom counter tops & food off of baseboard heating units. Overall the home is great and just needs a little TLC. Only other suggestion would be for the lawn to be cut, grass was pretty long so the kids didn’t want to play in the yard.
Perfect family friendly spot with an Adirondacks feel. Great location, clean, spacious, great yard!
I couldn't have asked for a better place. My kids 2 & 4 were greatly entertained just being there, no toys or screen time needed while on property. The lot was amazing, private, woodsy and a sand lot in the back the kids loved. We met some incredibly friendly deer and some bunnies as well. Walking distance to a nice playground and very close to town. Inside was spacious, clean and well maintained - and yet somehow this huge well kept house still maintained the Adirondacks cottagey feel of a true escape into nature. The realty company was great to work with and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was beyond so incredibly kind to my children. I'd highly highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in and wouldn't consider another spot the next time I visit!
