Charming Centennial Cottage-Downtown!

Blocks from downtown, restaurants & night life, this quaint, turn-of-the-century cottage is a great home base for your adventures in the Black Hills! Our classic, craftsman home built in 1908 is renovated with modern amenities, but boasts early 1900s character. We love this unique space and the history & stories it must have to tell within its walls. Contactless checkin with door code provided day of checkin.

This designated vacation rental is equipped with everything you need, along with a community cabinet with some cooking essentials if you choose to use shared items. New stainless appliances, gas range stove, full size laundry, and all new linens on new memory foam mattresses. Large smart TV to stream favorite programs along with a plethora of local channels will satisfy down time.

As locals of the Black Hills, we are delighted to share our favorite things to experience, depending on your interests. We have a long history of serving guests in the hospitality industry and have loved branching out in this new industry. Home owners and hosts.

Very cute and clean cottage, with a huge fenced-in yard close to downtown shops and restaurants. Comfortable furnishings, and the decor was fabulous - a lot of attention to detail. The morning bells from the church of across the street added to the quaint atmosphere. The property manager was responsive and answer all questions very quickly. When back in town, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautifully decorated and was perfect for our family of 4! It truly was like coming "home" at the end of each day and the owners are very responsive and helpful to whatever needs and questions we had. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever come back to this area.

Wonderful rental

I would highly recommend this property if you are in the area. Plenty of room for a family. Fenced in area for our dogs was a plus. Extremely clean and comfortable Centrally located to almost all of the must dos while in South Dakota I would definitely stay here again when we come back to South Dakota

Weekend Getaway

This nice little house was great for our weekend stay. It was very cozy and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to many places due to how close it was. Our pets loved the fenced in back yard to run around. Tai was very friendly and responsive. We definitely would stay here again.

Mt Rushmore

We stopped here for a quick trip to Mt Rushmore on a long road trip. The house is very comfortable and centrally located. We felt safe, and our kids enjoyed the back yard tree fort. The only issue we had was the front two rooms getting very hot at night- there are only two window shakers in the house, so the two front bedroom doors must be open to cool.

Loved my stay in this adorable little house. Great yard for my dog, and the beds were really comfortable. Heads up to anyone working remotely here: there are only stools and coffee tables so I had to get a bit creative with setup. Not the owner’s fault at all, as I hadn’t searched by those features. Wifi was spotless. Convenient to downtown and easy parking. Check-in and owner communication quick and always friendly. Overall, a really wonderful stay at a great price!

Quaint, clean house; easy location; helpful host

We were rarely at the house, but it met our needs. The host was communicative and prompt with replies. I asked if a specific kitchen small appliance was available and she brought it over before we arrived. (Thank you again!) Everything I needed for cooking was there in the kitchen. Other thoughtful touches included a surge strip in the living room for a charging station and detergent for the washer. The beds were comfortable. The window ac units provided lots of white noise. The only thing we heard from outside were the church bells ringing at 7 a.m. Monday & Wednesday. (Monday they rang for a long time; Wednesday was much shorter.) We'd stay here again! Thanks for a great visit! The location was perfect for day trips to the Badlands NP, Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, and Mt. Rushmore.

The property was in a not so nice neighborhood. Junky neighbors and unkept homes. The house lacks maintenance on the exterior. We didn't feel like we could walk the neighborhood. The interior was clean. Beds were comfy.

Cute little house close to downtown Rapid city. It only took us 30 minutes to get to Mt. Rushmore and 40 minutes to Custard State Park. House was clean and we were allowed to check in early. Great communication with the Host. For fellow Catholics, there is a Catholic Church across the steet!

Second stay at this nice home

I stayed here with my wife and grand daughter 2 years ago and enjoyed so much I returned with 2 friends for a guy trip. The house was perfect for our needs, nicely located for visits to all the sites we wanted to see and walking distance to downtown restaurants.The property was clean and had everything we needed.This will be the first place I look for if I come back in the future'

My husband and I have been in the hospitality industry over 40 years combined. We have worked in motels, hotels, private properties, and multiple catering services, serving guests of all stature and in all different ways, both nationally and internationally. We love the industry and learning how to provide the best experience. We loved bringing this old home back to life and take pride in doing the renovation and decorating all on our own :)

Location, location, location. In the heart of downtown Rapid City, you can walk to Main Street Square events like Movie Under the Stars, Weekly Concerts, and events or dine on the rooftop of the historical Alex Johnson while enjoying a sunset. Head straight out of town and be at Mount Rushmore in 20 minutes or enjoy a day exploring Keystone. This is a great central location to many Black Hills activities!
