We liked the property but it said it could sleep 6 but it didn't have eating seating or plates for 6. We had 5 and had to sit on floor to really spread out. Close to all the attractions and we liked the history of place. Close to shops and food places.
One of the coolest things about this property when you think about it is lying in bed in a house that witnessed the battle of Gettysburg and looking out the window at the statue of Abraham Lincoln. The location of this property was excellent.
I was worried about it being hot in an attic apartment with the temperature being 99 outside. It was cooled extremely well !! Overall It was as good or better than I would expect from a 161+ year old house. The parking was excellent.
I would stay here again. Thanks 👍
For history buffs like my friend and me, the location can't be beat -- the building was there in 1863 and likely passed by Lincoln on his way to deliver his address. The unit has everything promised in the listing. But it wasn't especially comfortable. It occupies attic space at the top of the building. There was a good deal of street noise, which really didn't bother me much but could be a problem for others. Instructions on how to use to the TV controls would have been nice. For our purposes, it was fine -- we were out touring the sights most of the day. But I'm guessing I'll look elsewhere the next time I'm in Gettysburg.

Three flights of steps.Very clean and in the midst of downtime.
This apartment was absolutely adorable! Has the old time feel like the rest of the town with everything you could need. Everything was super clean, location is right in the middle of town and more than enough room for me and my boyfriend. This was my first time visiting Gettysburg and can’t wait to go back soon!
The location is amazing! Easy walking distance to all things Gettysburg! I was there to attend a Civil War Conference for teachers and this was the perfect place. This apartment is on a 3rd floor so be mindful of that. The internet and cable was amazing. We were so pleased with the apartment.
This is a great spot for exploring Gettysburg. It is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also a very short drive to the battlefield. It was very cool staying in a building that was original to the Civil War. You are basically staying in the attic because it is up two flights of stairs. We didn’t mind this at all but just a heads up if you struggle with steps. My only complaint is the bedroom with one bed can get very warm if you shut the door. The host does provide a fan in the living room that could easily be moved to the bedroom. I would definitely stay again, thank you!
The property was very clean with cold AC. Conveniently located to downtown Gettysburg. Great communication with property owners. Would recommend as a place to stay when visiting Gettysburg.
This was a very simple, clean space to stay in downtown Gettysburg. We loved the location and were so thankful for the cleanliness. Since we were exploring Gettysburg, we weren't at the place very much, but it wasn't the most comfortable. There was no couch to sit on, nor any "extras" that would make this a more comfortable stay. But the convenience of the location was worth it and our stay was just fine.
This is probably the cleanest place we’ve stayed at. The location can’t be beat either. It was very comfortable and the owner was fantastic at communicating.
The location and off street parking are optimal. Who doesn't like to see Abraham Lincoln from their bed or hear church bells chime! Loved some of the historic features! The stairs up the apartment are a cool curve but a lot. A few little things...towel hook near the shower, hook for hand towel, WD-40 the squeaky door, more comfortable seating...would go a long way. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but really weren't in the apartment much over the weekend. Would highly recommend to others!!
