Perfect Getaway

This property was ideal for my husband and I. It was close to the beach, restaurants, trails, etc. The area was very quiet and scenic. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for us. The owners were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Wow!!!! So impressed!!! The apartment could not have been better designed for a 2-person getaway, & a very conscientious host. I would give the overall experience more stars if I could - 5 is insufficient. A terrific VRBO host who shares kind “extras” - which we gave, also. The whole experience - PHENOMENAL!!!!

Great stay

Quite area about 15 minutes outside of Lewes. Owners were very friendly & responsive to our questions. A dozen eggs from their chickens were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. We would stay again.

Awesome Getaway

Absolutely charming, clean, and easy to get to. The hosts out did themselves with all the little touches. The bed and sofa were comfortable. The check in/out process was easy. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great Stay

My wife and I were very impressed with the apartment it was very clean and very homey all the appliances worked great the bed was extremely soft and comfortable we loved the comfy couch to watch TV. The location was perfect for going to the beach and the hosts were extremely friendly and easy to work with when our stay needed to be changed by a day. Loved the farm fresh eggs.

Chilling with the chickens

Returning to this property after a hectic day dealing with traffic(Delaware intersections are challenging!), crowds at the beach and the craziness of the Rehoboth boardwalk offered some much needed peace and quiet. The surroundings reminded us of our country home in West Virginia. The space itself was well appointed with modern appliances, functional furniture and well lit, demonstrating the thoughtfulness that went into planning the renovation that took place in the loft of what was previously a barn. Check-in was a breeze and we briefly met with the owners, who respected our privacy throughout our stay. All-in-all, this is the perfect location for a quiet country retreat from the otherwise overwhelming throng of visitors to the area.

Wonderful Hosts

We used to stay in this area for years so it was extra special. Hosts were so hospitable. Place was perfect for our stay. Everything we needed. Not far from the beach but quiet and very comfortable. Thank you for making it a perfect stay!!! Highly recommend it

Quick weekend trip

My fiancé and me went on a trip to a friends wedding. It was a perfect spot just minutes away and Adele was a perfect host that had everything ready for us even arriving past 1am. Best little spot to stay at and even was willing to take some photos of us before we headed out. Sad we didn’t get a chance to try the farm fresh eggs but next time for sure!

The Perfect Hidden Gem

We are so fortunate to have stumbled upon this perfect apartment. The country setting was exactly what we were looking for in our stay in Lewes. The location was quiet and beautiful. We even got to watch some deer in the field behind the apartment on our first night there. We also appreciated the fact that it was only a 5-10 minute drive to most of the places we wanted to go. Adele and John are lovely and SO welcoming. We look forward to staying again!

Great “Country” Getaway

We wanted to visit with friends in Longneck, but also hit all of Rehoboth’s outlets. This location proved PERFECT! It is outside of all the hustle and bustle of Rt.1, yet it is only a few minutes away. The deck was great, but it was really too rainy or chilly to take full advantage of it. The place was spacious, and clean (it looked pretty new actually). I’d recommend it 100%, and would return in a heartbeat
