Welcome to Don't Worry, Beach Happy OBX in Corolla—your perfect oceanside escape! This spacious 4-bedroom retreat is tailor-made for families and furry friends, offering a private pool and spa, just a short walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Whether you're soaking up the sun, exploring local attractions, or simply relaxing by the pool, our home provides the ideal setting for unforgettable memories. Bring your loved ones (including the pups!) and experience the best of Corolla living!

Walk up the stairs of this reverse floor plan to the third level and enjoy the open, light-filled space. Pictures don't capture the relaxed, open-concept living area that encompassing the kitchen, living, dining areas and half bath. Vaulted ceilings and large open windows and sliding doors create an open, airy space that enjoys beautiful natural light. Sliding glass doors lead to a deck that spans two sides of the house to take in the beautiful Corolla sunrise and sunsets. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare delicious home-cooked meals and has generous counter space thanks to a large peninsula with seating for four. The top deck provide a great vantage point to view the beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as the Whalehead community.

After a fun day at the beach, come RELAX while enjoying your own private pool. Sip a glass of wine in the hot tub and watch the sun set or read a book on the top decks while you listen to the surf. You can be as busy or relaxed as you would like! Make a short walk to the Beach, grocery, restaurants, bars, movie theatre, shops, and entertainment at Timbuck II.

Our beach home is located on a half acre in the beautiful Whalehead Beach and offers many features including:
4 bedrooms:
King main bedroom with separate shower and 55" smart TV
2 Queen bedrooms with 43" smart TVs
1 daybed room (two twins or one king bed)
Private pool (approx. 14 ft X 30 ft) pool basketball
New Hot tub and private outside shower
Fully equipped kitchen
New state-of-the-art washer/dryer
Games, books and puzzles.

Please note that our pool will be closed from October 1, 2025 until May 1, 2026. Our NEW hot tub (now located on the pool deck!) will open on April 1, 2026.

A small exterior camera is mounted on the front of the home to monitor the driveway for deliveries and cleaning between visits. It will not be in use during your visit.

What household items do we provide:
4 beach chairs, beach wagon and sand toys
All sheets and towels for every bedroom
Dishtowels and kitchen sponge
We also have a variety of spices in the kitchen available.

We get you started with -
* A roll of toilet paper and hand soap in each bathroom
* Welcome coffee kit of Keurig pods and sweeteners
* Roll of paper towels,
* Dishwasher detergent and liquid dish soap
* Laundry soap

You will need~ beach towels, garbage bags, additional toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, every day toiletries.

Just what we needed

What a lovely home that had everything we needed for a great vacation (despite the weather). This place checked all our boxes: pool, hot tub, basketball net, linens. We loved relaxing on the deck chairs in the morning. The location is perfect- close to everything. Shelley is a wonderful host- quick to respond to our questions. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect size, well laid out home for our group. The pool was great with lots of room around it. Private backyard. Home had everything we needed. Nice convenient location! After going to Harris Teeter, we parked the truck for the week and went everywhere in our rented golf cart. Hope to stay here, again.

Loved the house - perfect for our two families of 4 (all over 18) and our dog. Shelley is a great hostess and the house was even ready a bit ahead of schedule. Loved this property and Homeowner was amazing to work with

We stayed at this house a week in September! The homeowner was very attentive to our needs. We ended up driving to the beach everyday since we had so much stuff with two kids. Close to shops! The pool and hot tub were nice to have as opinions with the kids! I would recommend this house!!

The house was clean and well appointed with kitchen appliances. Also included nice complimentary additions like coffee, beach towels, and toiletries for showering. We enjoyed the pool and the place was super convenient to shops, restaurants and beach. The only minor complaint was the TV in the master bedroom was located in an odd place and the remote didn't work

Property was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with all types of cookware including a crock pot, blenders, baking pans and plenty of silverware. Plenty of storage space to put your snacks etc. pool was clean and spacious. Beds were nice and comfortable as well. Lots of outdoor toys provided as well. Many extras provided to get us started for the week. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

We had a great stay at Don’t Worry Beach Happy! The house is clean, well furnished, and in a great location. We enjoyed walking and biking to the beach and shops with ease. Location is great. The outdoor furniture is fantastic and we loved hanging by the pool and on the multiple decks. Loved the tennis balls and poop bags provided for our furry friend. Pizza from Whalehead Brewery was 10/10. Michelle was responsive and kind. Would highly recommend!

Perfect OBX vacation!

We had a great week at this house! The beach was a short walk away and the pool was perfect in the afternoon. Everything was so well set up for enjoying the outdoors. We spent so much time out on the porches enjoying the breeze. It was so helpful to have beach chairs and a wagon available, since we were traveling with kids and had a lot of stuff. :) The house was also set up well for traveling with pets, with a water bowl and bags for easy clean up when we took her out. Communication with the owner was quick and easy for check in and out. We were very happy with our choice to stay here.

Don't worry beach happy is centrally located in Corolla. You can walk anywhere: shops, restaurants, groceries, beach all within 5 minutes. The house is very clean & Michelle the owner provided everything: towels for kitchen, bath & beach, kitchen & bathroom soap, plenty of beach chairs to name just a few things. The kitchen is well equipped. Communication with Michelle was excellent. Because of the incoming weather at the time of my stay she generously offered to come a day early at no additional cost. My dogs had a blast as well: there is a front and back yard were they could play or just take a nap; they especially loved hanging out on the balcony to observe their surroundings. The house not only had toys/ games for humans of all ages but for animals as well. I just wish I could have stayed another week. It's a heavenly place.
