The house was wonderful! Beautifully decorated and perfect for a family or group of friends. Hazel was a wonderful host! We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay.My complaints are roaches present on the floors and sealed supposedly clean towels and lines smelled like very strong cigarette smoke.

Very nice place pet friendly and children friendly. I would suggest that cleaning crew wash the rugs and mats especially the ones in the kitchen, as well as sweep under the beds. Would be nice if there was a small cordless vacuum to vacuum the sand from bigger rugs. Beautiful locations quiet neighborhood short drive to the beach. We really enjoyed ourselves. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Thank you!

A Great Get Away Stay!

This property is perfect for a long week or a short get away with friends and family. This property is not only beautiful, clean, neat but very well taken care of. I would recommend this home to anyone .

Blissful Stay on Oak Island

Super quiet area. It is a little bit of a distance to shopping and restaurants. Very close to Middleton public beach access. House was very nice and we enjoyed evenings on the screen porch.

Met, not exceeded expectations

Decorated beautifully, and owner was fairly responsive. Door code we originally received did not work, then we had to call for linens, as there was not enough provided. Kitchen was well stocked with table wear, etc. Bonus was the scented candles and plug ins- but if you’re scent sensitive, beware! Constructive feedback; We had asked about beach chairs available before we left and was told there were some provided. The chairs there were broken and were impossible for use. If we had known how poor condition the chairs were in, we would have certainly brought our own.

Visit to Oak Island

The property and decor were very beach oriented, which was great for a first time beach trip. My grandson had never been to the beach. There were some items we felt needed to be addressed. We found the linens in bags on the beds, which we have never experienced with VRBO. King sheets were too small for the main bed. Although we were directed to leave no items in cabinets or frig, there were many items already present in both. The outdoor gas grill was extremely dirty from caked on food, making it difficult to use before cleaning extensively. The outdoor shower only had a trickle of water so we could not use it. We were instructed to wash all dishes, empty dishwasher, sweep floors, stack linens by front door--and wondered what the $260 cleaning fee was for if we were to do everything except clean the bathrooms and kitchen sink. We were also instructed to turn the air conditioner to 78 degrees, but could only get the dial to go to 74 degrees. We did try to comply with all the rules but felt we were doing most of the cleaning despite paying a cleaning fee. We did appreciate the proximity to the beach and overall we enjoyed our experience. Just found a few items lacking and not what we had anticipated. If this were our home, we would appreciate knowing how we could improve the experience for others. This is a lovely home and we are sure many others will enjoy their beach experience there. Thank you.
